Julian Alvarez doubled in the third to drive in Thomas Russo with the winning run as Lexington held on for a 4-3 win and advances to the semifinals. Dan Graham hit a 2-run home run in the second and Taylor Ferguson had a sacrifice fly to drive in the third run.
Drew Brzozowski pitched four innings for the win. Rob DiFranco closed out the game with three scoreless innings, setting down eight of the nine batters he faced. |

Drew Leenhouts postseason no-hitter kept the Blue Sox alive and evened the best of three series at 1-1. Leenhouts struck out 11, walked none and faced two batters over the minimum. A hit batter in the third and an error in the 7th were the only Somerville base runners.
Dave Ahern's HR finished the scoring and Julian Alvarez and Dan Graham also had RBI for Lexington. |
