Numerous scouts were on hand to watch Kyle Musco pick up his 5th win of the season for Palmer in what proved to be a solid tune-up for another playoff run. Musco went 4 innings before handing the ball over to the pen, striking out two and allowing 5 hits and zero walks on the night. Offensively, Palmer banged out 14 hits, highlighted by a 4-hit performance by Johnny Phelan (3 runs, 2 RBI). Kenny Henry came in late to spell JP Songin of his DH duties, smashing a single and adding more ammunition to support an already compelling argument that he is deserving of the regular season Park League MVP award.

With the game tied 1-1 in fifth, Jared Blandino (2-3) and Eddie Riley (3-4) came through with consecutive triples to give ADSL the 2-1 lead. Grossman threatened in the bottom of the fifth with bases loaded and nobody out, but Fernando Burgos worked out of the jam with two K's and a ground out. Burgos pitched five strong innings striking out nine to pick up the win. Matt Hailey pitched two scoreless innings of relief to pick up the save.

Grossman jumped out to an early lead with a four run first inning. ADSL chipped away and scored four of their own in the 3rd to take the 5-4 lead. Trent Berg settled in nicely for ADSL after a shaky first. Berg retired 21 of the final 24 batters and struck out ten to pick up the complete game win in his park league debut. Mike Davis had a big two-out 2-RBI base hit in the 4th inning that broke the tie which proved to be the game winner for ADSL.

Cannon adds a little each inning to stay ahead of Grossman in a well fought game. Hits by Castoldi, Fonseca and Treff get GM on the board early but Cannon answers with hits by McCann and McCue. McCue comes up big again next inning with a two run triple after some walks and an rbi single from Panozzi. McCue wanting to play for both teams, helps GM in the 4th by letting a Castoldi base hit roll through him, plating Reinhardt. Not to be outdone, Desai takes the relay and throws a touchdown pass over 3rd to allow Castoldi to score on the play. The McCue show continues with his 3rd hit of the night in the bottom of 4 followed by a Bavly single. Colon's double brings them in to get the runs back. GM gets 2 back in the 6th after Fonseca's second double and a Malloy single. Hernandez comes in for Cannon and stops the bases loaded threat and earns the save in the 7th.

In a close game all night, Cannon pulls out the win as GM had the tying runs on base in the 7th. Desai, who makes a smart decision to leave his "friends" and come to the game, notches a triple to clear the bases in the first. Cimini and Castoldi (2-3, 2 rbi) answer back with hits. Coscione triples in the 4th to bring in McCue and Hemmer knocks him in to add 2 more. Again GM answers with a Castoldi triple. Mccue gets the run back with a sac fly in the 5th, but again GM comes back with a Reinhardt double and eventual sac fly by Castoldi. GM adds another in the 6th after a triple by Arias but Willams comes on for Cannon to stop things there. Hope the beach day was good for the "friends" as Cannon manages to win again WITHOUT them.
