Winning is so nice, Palmer did it twice. The reigning champs won with authority winning the deciding game 9-0 in game 5 of the Championship series. Kyle Musco (Quinnipiac) pitched 6 innings of 1 hit ball. Palmer continued their hit parade with 11 hits. Palmer showcased their dominance in all facets of the game; pitching, hitting, and defense.

It was open mic night at Town Field tonight, and Palmer brought the noise, winning a great pitching match-up that saw Trafecanty out-duel Desai. Trafecanty went 6 and 1/3 and allowed just 3 singles to pick up the W. Desai threw well for ADSL, going the distance and allowing just 5 hits in the contest. But unlike Game 1, Palmer received clutch hitting with runners on base to scratch 4 across on the tough lefty.

The Palmer offense was carried by Dorian Rojas (2-3, RBI) and Marvin Malaret (1-2, 2 RBI) early, and Jim Pierce drove home an insurance run in the 7th. Rojas led off the 4th with a bomb to left that went for a double. Malaret then launched a scud missile over the right center field wall to break a scoreless tie that put Palmer up 2-0. Palmer added a run in the 6th when Phelan reached on an infield single, stole 2nd, and scored on Rojas' 2nd hit after a lengthy at-bat resulting in a clean line drive to left center.

Another pitcher's duel at Kelly Field results in a 4-2 for victory Palmer Club.

Kenny Henry went the distance for Palmer, scattering 4 hits and striking out 5 on the night. ADSL jumped ahead early, scoring 2 runs on 3 hits in the first before Henry turned dominant. From the 2nd inning on, only one additional ADSL batter reached base safely for the remainder of the game.

Chuckie Gibson threw well for ADSL, working out of jams in the 2nd and 4th and combining with Blandino in the 6th to limit Palmer to just 4 runs.

Despite leaving 8 men on base throughout the contest, Palmer received some clutch hitting from Pat Nicholson (3-3, RBI), Chris Curran (2-4, 2 RBI), and Shane Stande (1-2, RBI) to give Henry all the run support he would need.

The big hit of the game came in the 4th, when Curran ripped a 2-out bases-loaded double down the right field line that scored 2 and proved to be the game winner, giving Palmer a 3-2 lead.

Palmer evens the series up at 1 apiece with a 15 hit barrage behind a clutch pitching performance by Eric Williams. Williams went 6 strong innings to earn the win for Palmer. After working thru a taxing 2nd inning where he surrendered 2 runs on 3 hits, Williams settled in and didn't allow another run, giving up just 5 hits on the night.

The Palmer bats woke up Thursday after a quiet opening game. Palmer scored a combined 8 runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings on 7 hits and never looked back. Palmer received contributions up and down the lineup while taking advantage of a few miscues early in the ballgame. The Palmer offense was lead by JP Songin (4-5, 1 RBI), Jim Pierce (4-5, 1 RBI), Johnny Phelan (3-5, 4 RBI), Kyle Power (2-3, 2 RBI), and Shane Stande (2-4, BB).

Game 1 of the BPL Championship turned in a classic playoff baseball pitcher's duel between Kyle Musco of Palmer and Josh Desai of ADSL. The first inning saw two of the three total runs in the game come across the plate, led by a leadoff triple by John Arens under the diving attempt of Chris Curran in centerfield. Josh Ellis drove in the first run of the game on a deep sac fly for ADSL. Palmer answered immediately in the bottom of the inning on Jim Pierce's double to right field scoring Curran who led off with a single and stolen base.

In the 3rd, ADSL scored again, with what ended up as the deciding run on Jared Blandino's single and stolen base, setting up a two-out RBI single by Frankie Tierney to give ADSL the 2-1 lead. Both pitcher's settled in and did not allow a run the rest of the game. Palmer threatened in the 7th with the bases loaded and two-out but Desai escaped by retiring Palmer on a ground out to SS to end the game.

Game 3: ADSL loaded the bases in the first inning with no-outs. After failing to score and now two outs, Frankie Tierney (2-4, 2 R,2B, 3B, 5 RBI) picked up the slack and lined a bases clearing double under the diving attempt by Ryan Connelly. Tierney then scored on Mike Davis' deep double to left giving ADSL the early 4-0 lead. TJO starter Tyler Shute then settled in over the next four innings, retiring the next eleven ADSL hitters, keeping TJO within distance to stay alive. TJO then threatened in the 5th, chasing ADSL starter Dave Liffers (4.1, W, 7 Ks) cutting the lead to 4-3. Tommy McDonald worked out of the 5th to secure the ADSL lead.
-ADSL answered with a big 6th, chasing Shute by scoring five runs on five hits, starting with Tierney's 2-run deep triple to right center giving ADSL the 9-3 lead. TJO continued to fight, pulling within two runs and the tying run on second; ADSL barely escaped with a great play by SS Joe Presti.

Game 2: After an incredible finish to game 1, TJO and ADSL were back at it Friday night at Fallon Field in a pivotal game 2. TJO jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first inning on back to back hits by Max Hart (3-4, 3 RBI) and Joe Lyons (2-3, 2 RBI). TJO pitcher Sam Miller allowed just one hit through 5 1/3 but ADSL was able to scrape across three runs to stay within distance. After five full innings, TJO led 5-3.
---TJO added to their lead once again by scoring two more in the 6th, however, Nick Kinsella came in relief and escaped a 6th inning jam to keep ADSL within striking distance. ADSL then chipped away at TJO's lead, by scoring two in the bottom of the 6th making it 7-5. ADSL continued to battle in the 7th, a leadoff HBP and ground out with a throwing error scored a run with one out. Another HBP, double by Josh Ellis, and an int. BB that set up Tom Kelly (3-4, 4 RBI) for a dramatic two-run walk off single for the ADSL win.

Game 1: The Boston Park League playoffs started off with a wild game at Fallon field between ADSL and TJO Sports. ADSL jumped out to an early 3-0 through three inn. behind pitcher Josh Desai. ADSL added to the lead, scoring four more runs in the 5th inn. behind big nights by Frankie Tierney (4-4, BB, 2 RBI) and Bobby Barrett (4-5, 2 RBI). Desai carried a no-hitter through 6.1, keeping TJO hitters off balance all night. Joe Lyons broke up the no-hit bid in the 7th with one runner on and one out.
---Then, TJO Sports extended the inning one batter at time, scored three runs and chased Desai from what was nearly a no-hit bid.
TJO took advantage of reliever Jared Blandino's wildness, who then finally escaped the inning, but not before TJO scored 7 runs to force extra inn. in a remarkable comeback. Blandino then doubled with one out and scored on Bobby Barrett's single on a bang, bang play at home. ADSL made two diving plays in the 8th.

With both teams already clinched to play in the postseason, ADSL and Towne Club were fighting for playoff positioning. Towne Club jumped ahead in the 2nd inning, scoring four runs on four hits and a couple ADSL errors.

Connor Farrell was cruising into the 4th until ADSL strung together five straight hits, capped off by a deep 3-run bases clearing double by Joe Presti to even the game at 4-4. ADSL then tacked on two more runs in the inning, taking the 6-4 lead.

Towne Club added a run in the fifth to pull within one before Matt Hailey came in relief for ADSL, throwing 2 1/3 scoreless innings to pick up the save and secure ADSL to the #3 seed in the playoffs.

Harvey Soolman had 2 BB and 1 RBI in his final Park League game as a player after a long, dedicated BPL career. Hats off to Harvey!

A wild one at Fallon as the game looked to be low scoring with ADSL leading 1-0 after three full innings. Grossman bats came alive in the top of the 4th, batting around, scoring eight runs on eight hits, capped off by a deep triple to center by Andrew Tenaglia giving Grossman the 8-1 lead.

ADSL answered back in the bottom of the inning, chipping away at the lead, taking advantage of walks, scoring four runs. ADSL added another in the 5th, leading to a big bottom of the 6th, by scoring four more runs on a Frankie Tierney 2-run single with two outs. Andy Gonzalez finished the rally by launching a deep 2-run double to right field, capping off nine unanswered runs for ADSL to take the 10-8 lead.

Greg Coman was flawless in relief, pitching 3 1/3 innings, allowing no runs and striking out six to pick up the win.

Leading 2-1 in the top of the 5th, ADSL loaded the bases with nobody out and pushed across three runs in the inning to extend the lead 5-1 in a pivotal playoff hunt game versus Towne.

The 5th inning gave some cushion for Josh Desai, who pitched another complete game picking up his league leading seventh win on the mound. Desai scattered six hits, struck out six and allowed one earned run on the night.

Cannon gets on the board in the 3rd with a leadoff single by McCann (3 hits on the night) and a triple in the trees by McCue.

ADSL answers whn Blandino gets on with an error in the 4th, steals second, and advances to 3rd on a wp. Barrett drives him in with a ground out to second.

Answering back, McCann and McCue do it again with a single and a double to retake the lead for good. Hueston works out of a big jam in the 6th with no out and runners on 2nd and 3rd.

Davis has the lone hit for ADSL.

Frankie Tierney (2-3, 2 R, 2 RBI) reached base safely three times, coming up with a big 2-run single followed by a Greg Speliotis (2-2, 2 R, 2 RBI) 2-run double. Bobby Barrett also provided a spark with two hits and two runs scored for ADSL.

Josh Desai was dominant on the hill for ADSL, allowing only three hits on the night, with no earned runs against a dangerous Palmer lineup. Desai struck out nine improving his record to 6-2 on the season.

Park league veteran pitchers Darwin Mesa for the Padres and Jared Blandino for ADSL battled in complete game efforts on each side with ADSL coming out on top 6-3.

ADSL jumped ahead 2-0 after three innings, but the Padres rallied back to take a 3-2 lead on a 2-run triple by Zach Barrett. ADSL did not go away as they tied it up in the next inning on a two-out double by Mike Davis. After holding the Padres in the bottom of the sixth, ADSL put together a rally in the 7th, taking advantage of a couple Padres miscues and capping it off with a long double by Frankie Tierney (3-4, R, RBI). Blandino pitched a strong 7th to pick up the win.

James Bussiere goes 5 2/3 to pick up a victory in his first Park League decision. Mark Stefaniak singled three times with 2 rbi, Grant Bowen had three hits and Billy Collins went 3 for 4 (2b and rbi). Thus, Towne Club bounced back from Tuesday's 18-2 humiliation, and in the next two games jumped out to an 11-1 lead (winning, 11-6) and a 9-1 victory.

Josh Desai pitched a complete game, allowing six hits and striking out seven batters to improve his record to to 5-2 on the season.

ADSL had some timely hitting and played solid defense on the night, keeping the lead the throughout the game. TJO scored twice in the 5th to pull within one run, but ADSL responded with two insurance runs in the 6th led by Greg Speliotis' triple and then scoring on a throwing error. Desai struck out the final three hitters of the game for the complete game victory.

ADSL pitcher Dave Liffers retired the first eleven Cannon hitters, then yielded a HBP, but retired the next batter keeping the no-hit bid alive through four innings preserving the 3-0 ADSL lead.

Bobby Barrett led the ADSL offense going 3-4 with 2 RBI. All nine ADSL batters reached safely with a hit, but Dave Volante worked out of a couple jams with solid defense behind him to keep the game close.

Cannon answered in the 5th inning with two runs, on their only two hits of the game, one run coming on a long triple by Matt Roberge making the game 3-2. However, Liffers escaped with no further damage.

ADSL then tacked on a run in the 5th and 6th to take a 5-2 lead. Jared Blandino came on in relief throwing two scoreless innings to pick up the save securing the ADSL 5-2 win.

It was Back to the Future night at Fallon Field as the wily Kevin McIntyre spun a gem keeping the red hot ADSL team off balance throughout his complete game victory. McIntyre pitched seven strong innings leading TJO to the 8-4 victory. Hitting stars were Derek Reddy and Chris Johnson.

Palmer started the game with what looked like a big advantage, loading the bases in the first inning, with no outs and scoring two quick runs. However, Josh Desai was able to keep runners at 2nd and 3rd by striking out the next two hitters to limit the damage.

Tony Trafecanty was sharp on the hill for Palmer, hitting spots and keeping ADSL off balance. Both Desai and Trafecanty dueled through the game, with Palmer leading 2-1 through five innings. ADSL evened it in the 6th with three straight two-out hits, incl. an RBI single by Frankie Tierney to even the score at 2-2. Palmer answered immediately in the top of the 7th, on a leadoff double by Jim Pierce and RBI single by Marvin Malaret to jump back ahead 3-2.

ADSL rallied in the 7th, making way to the Palmer pen and coming through with four consecutive singles, the biggest being a pinch-hit two-run, walk-off single by Paul Cleary for the 4-3 win.

ADSL hitters broke the game open in the fifth inning, led by a deep two-run double by Josh Ellis (3-4, 4 RBI). ADSL scored seven runs in the inning, capped off by a Greg Speliotis (3-4, 3 RBI), two-run triple to extend the lead.

Josh Desai was dominant for ADSL, pitching a complete game 4-hit shutout while striking out 11 batters on the night. Desai worked out of a crucial, momentum changing jam in the second inning, stranding runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs by striking out the next two and getting a ground out to end the inning.

ADSL answered in the top of the 3rd with five consecutive hits to start the inning, scoring four runs. Two of them came from a Bobby Barrett 2-run single. The scoring in the third inning proved to be enough for Desai. Joe Presti tacked on two insurance runs in the 7th on a 2-run single to give ADSL the 6-0 victory.

ADSL and the Padres battled back and forth throughout the game with ADSL jumping out to an early 3-1 lead after the first five batters reached on consecutive hits. Bobby Barrett (3-3, 2 2B, 3 RBI) launched a deep double to get the scoring started for ADSL. Darwin Mesa got out of an early jam leaving runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs to keep the Padres in the game.

The Padres then added a run in the 2nd and 3rd to even the game at 3-3. In the bottom of the 5th ADSL got a big two-out RBI triple by Frankie Tierney to regain the lead. Dave Liffers threw five solid innings for ADSL and left the game with a 1-run lead. However, Jorge Geronimo changed that with a 2-out bases clearing triple down the left field line giving the Padres a 6-4 lead.

ADSL answered immediately in the bottom of the sixth, scoring four runs on six hits to regain the lead for good. Jared Blandino closed it out to pick up his second save of the season.

Eli Libby threw a complete game, 3-hitter for ADSL striking out six and allowing just one walk. Libby's efficiency combined with solid defense, carried ADSL to the 5-1 victory.

Greg Speliotis led ADSL with 2 RBI, and Bobby Barrett reached base three times, scoring two runs to provide enough offense for ADSL.

Andrew Tenaglia hit a long double and scored Grossman's lone run in the 7th, breaking up Libby's shutout bid.

Rich Scanlon earns his first Park League win with a 9K complete game performance as Cannon wins with the walk off.

ADSL scored first on a double by Davis that scored Blandino but Cannon answered back in the 2nd on Mccanns single that scored Mccue. ADSL came right back on Blandinos triple that grazed a leaf and later scored on a sac fly by Ellis.

Cannon chips back with a big 2 out double by Bonfiglio to score Mccue in the bottom half. Scanlon then took over, worked out of a big jam in the 6th when ADSL had two on and 1 out with K's to end the inning.

Duffy leads off the 6th with a single and Colon bombs him home with a big triple to tie it up. In the 7th, Bonfiglio singles for his second hit and moves to third on a hit by Dassoni and walk by Duffy. McCann drives the ball to center to plate Bonfiglio in the comeback.

A pitcher's duel between Eli Libby and Jarlin Gomez (11 Ks) with Gomez not allowing a hit through five innings. ADSL would finally get a hit in the sixth and get on the board, by scoring three runs in the inning on a walk, error, base hit and RBI ground out.

Libby went the distance, throwing a complete game shutout, scattering six hits and striking out seven to pick up the win.

Cannon jumped out to a 5-0 lead taking advantage of two ADSL errors in the top of the 5th inning. However, ADSL would answer in the bottom of the 5th, scoring four runs on five hits to pull within one.

ADSL would then load the bases in 6th with one out and get an RBI groundout by Paul Cleary to even the game at 5-5. Mike Davis singled in the 8th and advanced to second on a failed pickoff attempt. Shane Rhuda (3-4, RBI), in his Park League debut, lined a base hit to the gap for the dramatic extra innings walk-off comeback victory for ADSL.

ADSL used four different pitchers in the game, all throwing well (0 ER), with Frankie Tierney coming in the game in the 7th and throwing two scoreless innings of relief to get the win.

Ryan Bowen pitched well in defeat for Cannon going the distance.

Towne Club jumped out to an early 4-1 lead but ADSL bounced back to stay within one run after three innings. The bottom of the 4th and top of the 5th were the swinging points of the game. ADSL batted around in the bottom of the fourth scoring 4 runs to take a 7-4 lead. Greg Speliotis (2-3, 2 RBI, 2 R, 2 SB) came through with a big 2-run single to give ADSL the lead, followed by a walk and two hits by Mike Davis and Paul Cleary (2-3, 2B, 2 RBI).

In the top of the 5th, Towne Club threatened with a leadoff double by Grant Bowen (2-4, 2 2Bs, 2 R) who would later score on a base hit by Tim Corey. ADSL starter Dave Liffers battled through 4+ innings to keep the lead for ADSL. Jared Blandino came on in relief in the 5th and would work out of a two men on, no out jam on a failed sac bunt and then would strike out the next two hitters. Blandino would then shut the door for the final two frames to pick up the save and give ADSL the victory.

After a delay to the start of the game, due to a volleyball tournament (typical Park League), ADSL controlled the game early and often. ADSL would score twelve runs through the first four innings with the 4th inning being their biggest, taking advantage of walks and coming through with big hits.

Josh Desai went four strong innings, striking out 7 while not allowing a run and picking up the win. Matt Hailey finished the game with two strong innings of relief in a shortened game due to the delay.

John Arens (2-2, 2 RBI, 2 SB) and Frankie Tierney (1-1, 2 BB, HBP, 2 R) paced the ADSL offense by each reaching base four times. Jorge Geronimo was the bright spot for the Padres with three hits on the night.

The big hit came off the bat of Max Hart driving in two runs with two outs to take the lead.

In a hard fought game that had 2 light failures, Cannon wins in a walk off.

Cannon jumps ahead in the 2nd with 3 runs on six hits but ADSL chips back to tie it back in the 5th on the first of two triples by Kelly. Cannon answers with a triple by Colon to score Hemmer and regain the lead.

Down to their last strike, Cleary knocks in Kelly to tie it again. In the bottom, McCann walks and advances to 2nd on McCues bunt, but a misplay has all safe. Then the lights go out.

On the restart, Libby has to leave the game bringing in Barrett. Hemmer drives the ball to right but McCann is thrown out at the plate. Colon then comes up and drives in McCue for the winner.

Grossman jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first via three ADSL miscues. ADSL's bats would make up for the early errors, pounding out twenty hits on the night and jumping out to a 6-3 lead after two innings. ADSL would extend the lead throughout the game, with eight different players pacing the multi-hit attack.

John Arens (3-4, 4 R), Jared Blandino (3-4, 2 RBI, 2 R) and Mike Davis (3-4, 3 R) each had three hits to pace the ADSL offense. ADSL veteran, Dave O'Sullivan, had two doubles with 3 RBI and Bobby Barrett drove in 4 runs to lead the team effort.

Josh Desai picked up the win for ADSL, throwing five strong innings striking out eight without allowing a walk. Dave Liffers threw well in relief, with two scoreless innings while striking out four.

After spotting ADSL a 3 run lead in the 1st TJO's fought back to take the lead in the top of the 6th. ADSL tied the game forcing extra innings. Bobby Barrett blasted a HR into the night for ADSL in the 4th. TJO's put across 2 in the 8th and Mike Larouque closed the door to secure the win. Offense was lead by Ryan Connelly (2 for 4) and Chris Johnson (2 for 4 2 RBI). Big double by rookie Justin Nicklas to jump start the 5 run 6th inning.

ADSL jumped out to an early 3-0 lead on the defending BPL champs but Palmer bats came alive in the home half of the 2nd, scoring 6 runs. Palmer showed a little bit of everything, reaching base via walks, infield hits, and a bases clearing double by JP Songin on a 3-2, 2 out, pitch. Palmer threw 4 pitchers throughout the game; Eric Williams, Pat "knee brace" Nicholson, Chris Anderson, and Tony Trefectany (sic). Palmer returned everyone from their 2014 championship run except for the formidable Joe Hock, whom will be sorely missed. Palmer added a couple bats onto their roster in Bobby Foote (no relation to Adam) and Todd Korchin, who comes back from Park League purgatory after a 11 year hiatus.

Towne pulls out the season opener in dramatic fashion in the 7th. With two outs and nobody on Chris Hoyt (2 for 4) tripled off Josh Desai, Dana Dresser got hit with his second HBP, Billy Collins (2 for 4, 2 rbi) singled sharply to tie the game, and Alex Venditti hit a broken bat grounder that eked its way through for the winner. Mike Stefaniak picked up the CG win, allowing one earned run and no hits over the last four innings. Desai fanned nine - each batter once - and was in control until it suddenly got away from him. Bobby Barrett had put ADSL on the board early with a long rbi double and scored on a throwing error.
