In a back and forth game, Grossman edges out the Padres 9-6. Strassmann picks up the win throwing the last four innings giving up two hits and two walks while striking out 4.

Tenaglia has another big night with three hits and a walk. Derochea adds two hits; Reinhardt scores twice; and Strassmann knocks in Derochea with an insurance run in the 6th.

Ramirez, Barrett, Soto and Whorf (2 doubles) have multi-hit games for the Padres.

On a beautiful summer night, Grossman and Palmer battle to a 5-5 tie in 9 innings.

Franz Strassmann pitches all 9 for Grossman; the Williams brothers split the game for Palmer.

Palmer scores 1 in the 3rd and 4 in the 4th. Grossman returns the favor scoring 4 in the 6th and 1 in the 7th. Palmer had a runner thrown out at the plate; Grossman had two.

Evan Derochea led the Grossman offense with three hits. Salvucci and Canales are on base four times each.

A wild one at Fallon as the game looked to be low scoring with ADSL leading 1-0 after three full innings. Grossman bats came alive in the top of the 4th, batting around, scoring eight runs on eight hits, capped off by a deep triple to center by Andrew Tenaglia giving Grossman the 8-1 lead.

ADSL answered back in the bottom of the inning, chipping away at the lead, taking advantage of walks, scoring four runs. ADSL added another in the 5th, leading to a big bottom of the 6th, by scoring four more runs on a Frankie Tierney 2-run single with two outs. Andy Gonzalez finished the rally by launching a deep 2-run double to right field, capping off nine unanswered runs for ADSL to take the 10-8 lead.

Greg Coman was flawless in relief, pitching 3 1/3 innings, allowing no runs and striking out six to pick up the win.

Jim Perron had 3 singles and 3 rbi; Tim Corey was on base four times (single, double, walk, hbp) and scored three runs; Dana Dresser had 2 hits and 2 rbi; Alex Venditti hit his second home run of the year at Babson.

Down 8-0 in the 4th inning, Grossman stages an improbable comeback and wins their 5th game in a row in dramatic fashion on a walkoff single by Chris Malloy in the bottom of the 7th knocking in Rick Salvucci. For Malloy, it would be his 4th hit of the night; for Salvucci, his third.

Grossman chipped away with three runs in the 4th on RBI's by Carrera, Salvucci and Tenaglia. Eric Williams, in relief of Morgan Williams, came in and seemingly shut the door, striking out 4 of the first 6 batters he faced. But Grossman wasn't finished, scoring five runs in the 6th with the big hits by Malloy and Tom Wells who each had 2 RBI singles. That set the stage for the dramatic 7th.

Steve Lambert picked up the win in his first park league pitching appearance throwing three shut out innings while giving up one walk and one hit and fanning three.

For Palmer, Pierce and Songin had multi-hit games.

Grossman Makes it four in a row in a rain delayed and shortened game. Lumb picks up the win; Farrington with his first save.

Cannon jumps out to a quick two run lead with the first two batters of the game scoring. Grossman takes the lead in the 3rd with Carrera, Salvucci and Tenaglia scoring. Strassmann scores an insurance run in the 4th on an RBI by Salvucci.

Bonfiglio is 4 for 4 for Cannon.

Mike Musto picks up the win in his first park league appearance throwing 2 1/3 innings in relief as Grossman makes it three in a row.

Grossman bats kick it in gear with multi-hit games by Careers, Salvucci, Tenaglia, and Malloy (3 for 3; 2BB). Scott "Doubles" Hampe adds another one to his collection.

The Padres make it interesting in the 4th scoring 5 and coming within 1 in the 5th. Barrett and Rosordino have two hits a piece for the Padres.

Grossman gets off the schneid with a hard fought win over Cannon. Hampe paces the offense with two hits including his third double in two games. Salvucci and Lambert also each have two hits for Grossman.

Cannon makes it interesting bouncing back from a 6-1 deficit with two runs in the 6th and 7th but Michael Thater limits the damage and goes the distance for Grossman in his last game as a single and happy man.

McCann, McCue, and Bavly have multi-hit games for Cannon.

Pitching and defense was the recipe for victory for TJO. Behind the strong pitching performance of Tyler Shute who threw a shutout, three double plays by the middle of the infield - Joe Lyons and Derek Reddy and a great throw from left fielder Max Hart - TJO won their 14th game of the season.

After Gross Marketing ties game in the top 7th 5-5, Padres walk off with a triple to right by OF Jorge Geronimo and Red Hot Eduardo Soto, who hits a shot to right center for the game winner. Jarlin Gomez holds down GM scattering 6 hits with 8 K's for his 2nd win of the season. Rookie SS Erick Ramirez led the attack going 4 for 4(2 2B,SB,RBI)and to go along with the hot bat of Zack Barrett, who chipped in with 2 hits

With two outs in the bottom of the 7th and trailing by a run, Brandon Welch hits a walk-off double scoring two as Grossman defeats Towne Club 4-3. Andrew Tenaglia had hit a long triple in the first scoring Salvucci and Franz Strassmann knocked in Tenaglia in the 4th to account for the only two Grossman runs up until that point.

Meanwhile Scott Hampe, in his first start of the 2015 season, pitched splendidly allowing only two runs through six, his only mistake was a 2 RBI double by Zack Roberson. In the top of the 7th, Chris Hoyt led off with a double and scored as Grossman was unable to convert the double play.

Mike Stefaniak pitched well for Towne Club allowing only four hits and two runs through six innings while striking out nine.

Eli Libby threw a complete game, 3-hitter for ADSL striking out six and allowing just one walk. Libby's efficiency combined with solid defense, carried ADSL to the 5-1 victory.

Greg Speliotis led ADSL with 2 RBI, and Bobby Barrett reached base three times, scoring two runs to provide enough offense for ADSL.

Andrew Tenaglia hit a long double and scored Grossman's lone run in the 7th, breaking up Libby's shutout bid.

Grossman Marketing and Towne Club battle to a seven seven tie in nine innings.

Towne Club jumped out to an early lead with the first three batters of the game, Hoyt, Dresser and Collins, scoring. Grossman answers back in the second as Hayes, Strassmann and Comeau score. Grossman adds four in the third with the big hit a bases loaded double by Strassmann scoring three.

Towne ties it in the 7th on RBI's by Corey and Mark Stefaniak.

Welsh has three hits for Grossman. Hoyt, Dresser, Corey and Stefaniak have multi-hit games for Towne.

Thater throws 6 1/3 strong innings for Grossman giving up two earned runs with newcomer, Pat Cadden, throwing well in relief. Mike Stefaniak holds Grossman scoreless pitching the last three innings.

Hueston chugs through 7 to pick up his third win of the season as Cannon takes some midget steps back into the thick of things and breaks their losing streak. Bavly, Colon, and Hemmer start off the first with consecutive hits to get the early lead. An error in the second helps score Neshe and Dwyer is driven in on Bavly's second hit of the night.

GM comes right back with hits by Salvucci (3-4 on the night)Carrera, Malloy and Reinhart (3 hits as well). But Cannon keeps the 4 run lead with hits by Dwyer and Duffy in the 4th. Walsh leads off the 6th with a big triple and scores on Franz' fielders choice and all was quiet after that.

After a slight delay waiting for the Kelly Field lights to be turned on, Morgan Williams threw 4 dominate and economical innings to earn the win for Palmer Club. Big brother, Eric Williams, shut down the last 3 innings without giving up a hit. to earn the save. Palmer was led offensively by Bobby Foote (1-for3, 2 RBI) and Frank Alexopoulos (2-for-3, RBI) driving in 3 runs in the 1st inning. Todd Korchin had a classic seeing eye pop up single in the 1st to finish the scoring in the game. Palmer, for the second consecutive game, played stellar defense to keep their opponent from generating much of a threat all night.

Raymond Malagon picked up his 3rd win of the young season with a complete game, 10-strikeout, no earned runs victory in his first Park League start. And Chris Hoyt continued his torrid hitting (now at 8 straight hits) with a 4 for 4 and 6 runs batted in: a bases loaded triple, a 2-run single and a one-run single. An oddity note: Malagon's 1-2-3 4th broke a string of 32 consecutive innings in which Towne had allowed at least one runner to reach base.

Grossman jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first via three ADSL miscues. ADSL's bats would make up for the early errors, pounding out twenty hits on the night and jumping out to a 6-3 lead after two innings. ADSL would extend the lead throughout the game, with eight different players pacing the multi-hit attack.

John Arens (3-4, 4 R), Jared Blandino (3-4, 2 RBI, 2 R) and Mike Davis (3-4, 3 R) each had three hits to pace the ADSL offense. ADSL veteran, Dave O'Sullivan, had two doubles with 3 RBI and Bobby Barrett drove in 4 runs to lead the team effort.

Josh Desai picked up the win for ADSL, throwing five strong innings striking out eight without allowing a walk. Dave Liffers threw well in relief, with two scoreless innings while striking out four.

Joe Lucier hurled a solid 5 inning performance in his first start since his 2014 injury woes. He scattered 4 hits, giving up only 1 run. Palmer was led offensively by Matt Lipsett who got a rally started in the top of the 5th with a lead off double. Johnny Phelan made up for an atrocious base running blunder by doubling on a real puss shot to left center in the 5th. Palmer played tough defense as a couple wiley vets sacrificed their bodies. First, Todd Korchin unnecessarily dove for a line drive in left field and, later, Jim Pierce took one in the chin after a crazy hop off a missile 5 hop ground ball to 3rd. Kyle Ritchie cleaned up the last 2 innings to record his 1st save of the season. He did so while rocking one of the grossest 'staches in the League.
