In the final game of the regular season, the braves had already locked up the #1 seed for the playoffs, but didn't let up on the gas as they rolled into the playoffs. Ariel Ramos (CGW; 3H, 0ER, 7K, 3BB) went the distance for his 6th win on the year. Pierre New (2-4; 2RBI, K) and Brandon Polignone (1-3; 2RBI, BB) knocked in the first two runs in the first inning and the Braves didn't look back plating 5 more including 4 in the 6th inning to put the game out of reach.

The Titans jump out to an early 7-0 lead in gsme two. Scott Lobdell had a 3-3 game with 2 more rbi's Brian Maynard also 3-4 ro pace the offense. Cam Beaulieu grabbed his second victory in as many weeks with a strong 5 innings and Mark Blake closed out the sweep with a 9-3 victory.

The Nationals came back to tie the game at 4 in the 5th, but the Titans grabbed 3 in the top of 8th to take game 1 of the double header 7-4. Offense was lead by Scott Lobdell going 3-4, Allen Hatfield going 3-3 and Rob Modoono going 2-3. Matt O'Donnell had the nationals off balance all day.

The Boston Cubs bounced back from a tough 1-0 loss in game 1 with a 2-1 victory in the night cap of a hot and humid doubleheader with the E. Boston Titans. The Cubs mustered only two hits off Mark Blake, but both came home to score to give the Cubs all the offense they needed. The Titans made things interesting in the 7th when Brian Maynard, after a lead-off double, scored on a sac fly. Billy McGee finished off the complete game victory without further trouble.

The North Shore Giants outlasted the East Boston Titans on Sunday 14-5 @ Palmer Cove -Salem. The Giants got up early on Matt Odonnell plating 5 in the 1st behind a 2RBI single from Bobby Celentanno (2-2, 2 Runs, 3RBI). Talal Saleh (W, 5IP, 4H, 3k, 4BB) would hold the Titans at bay for most of the day but allowed them to climb back to 6-4 in the 5th, however The Giants offense would score 8 runs in the bottom half of the 5th off 2 errors from the Titans defense and a 2 RBI single from Chris Smith. Giants will play the Thunder on Friday night to try and get back to the .500 mark for the first time this season.

The Quincy Pirates snapped a three-game losing streak on Friday night when they knocked off the East Boston Titans in Peabody. Paul Aseltine bounced back from a rough start as he carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning en route to the complete-game win. The Bucs rookies powered the offense as they accounted for six of the team's seven RBI. Nate Fishman was the star, finishing 3-3 with a triple, a run scored, and two RBI. Matt Boleski (1-2, RBI) was the big bat for the Titans in the loss.

Starting off Game 1 of a double header with the East Boston Titans, the Royals wasted no time getting on the board as they plated 3 runs in the bottom of the first. Derek Palatino (2-4) scored 4 runs on the day and Scott Weber (2-4) picked up 2 RBI. Coming off a 1 hit complete game shutout, Chris Johnson was able to put forth another strong performance going the distance giving up 3 runs (2 earned) on 8 hits with 5 strikeouts. Bryan Weber (3-4) added some insurance with an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth and the Royals went on to win 7-4.

NORFOLK -- The Norfolk County Mariners played their first true home game of the 2015 season Sunday at Pond St. Complex -- mere minutes from the home of the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots. Meanwhile, the 2-time defending RBBL Champion East Boston Titans were across the diamond, as their opponent. The raucous Mariner home crowd were in for a treat, as ace Alec Palioca turned in a performance one could only dream of. Palioca went the distance, surrendering only 1 hit while striking out 15 Titan batters. With the top of their order due up in the 4th, Joey Tornabene singled, stole second, & scored on a single by Ryan Manning. This was the only run the Mariners could score off of Sean Hannon who turned in an excellent performance, but inevitably received the loss.

New addition Max Ockner kept the Braves at bay all game getting out of couple jams including the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th to get the win in his debut. Ockner had 12 k's in the complete game victory.

In a rematch of the 2-14 RRBL Championship, the Medford Titans and Pepperell Red Dogs battled it out for the first game of the CABL 2015 season and it did not disappoint. This one featured a pair of Aces trading blows until the Dogs lit it up in the 6th exploding for 8 runs on 4 hits. This one had revenge written all over it and the dogs came hungry as Jeff Tully went the distance working out of jams at ease posting a 3K 3BB 7H afternoon while only allowing one Titan to cross the plate late in the 7th. The Red Dogs hope to keep things rolling as they introduce the Cubs to their stomping grounds on the 26th for a double header.
