With two outs and no one on in the seventh, the Pirates put together a game winning rally on a hot Sunday in Pepperell. All Star shortstop Kevin English got it started with a single through the left side off Red Dogs starter Jeff Tully. He stole second, then came around to score on a Jory Curran infield single that would be the eventual game-winner. Andy Burkett turned in another complete-game effort on the hill, scattering five hits for the W.

Desperate for a win the Red Dogs feasted on the Waltham Nationals, scoring 13 runs on 12 hits. This was a must need win as the Red Dogs entered the day sitting 12th in the CABL at 3-8. Sitting at 4-8 after 12 games the Red Dogs will build off of this victory welcoming the Newbie Mariners to Pepperell.

The Braves second game of the double header against the Red Dogs started out as a slug fest with 15 runs between both teams being scored in the first 3 in, innings. The Red Dogs' bats cooled while the surging Braves plated 3 more runs to take the double header and a tie for first place with the Newton Royals. Gustavo Polidor (2-3; 2B, 2RBI, 2R) continued his hot streak with his second multi-hit game while Matt Church (2-4; 3B, 2B, 2RBI, 2R) collected hit first triple of the year.

The Braves traveled to Pepperell for a double header against the struggling Red Dogs. Austin Teal (W; 6IP, 8K, 3H, BB, ER) shut down the Dogs through 6 innings allowing only 4 base runners and striking out 8. Nick Powers (2-4; R, 2SB) led the charge at the plate going 2-4 and for the second time in as many games, stole home in the first inning of the game. Batting leadoff again for the surging Braves, Gustavo Polidor (2-3; 2R, BB) added to the damage as well.

Indians jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first on a freezing Friday night, but it was the Red Dogs bats that warmed up. Scoring 6 unanswered runs the Dogs offense coupled with a starting performance from Ryan Sharp brought the dogs within a game and a half from first place in the CABL and brought the clubs record to 3-3

After blowing an 8 run lead in game one of the double header Jeff Tully came fired up shutting down the Thunder to one run on his way to 12 innings pitched on the day. Both games featured extra innings and walk off hits and Ryan O'neill provided it be in the favor of the dogs this time around hitting a walk off RBI single to right center field. Dogs stay a game under .500 at 2-3.

After falling behind 2-0, the Cubs were able to scratch out runs to tie to score after a triple by Brian McCarthy as followed by a single by Matt Butcher, an RBI single from Angel Rivera, and an RBI single by Gill Menjivar. Back to back singles in the 8th from Ryan O'Neil and Chris Tully gave the Red Dogs the lead, but the Cubs plated 2 on a long walk off single by Eric Walz over the head of the centerfielder to complete the two game sweep in the bottom of the 8th.

In game one of a doubleheader, the Cubs broke out early- scoring 4 runs in the first two at bats. The Red Dogs came back and plated 3 in the 3rd on a bases-loaded double. The Cubs added an insurance run in the 4th, which was all ace Eric Walz would need to earn the victory in his season debut. Mike Ray earned his first save of the season.

In a rematch of the 2-14 RRBL Championship, the Medford Titans and Pepperell Red Dogs battled it out for the first game of the CABL 2015 season and it did not disappoint. This one featured a pair of Aces trading blows until the Dogs lit it up in the 6th exploding for 8 runs on 4 hits. This one had revenge written all over it and the dogs came hungry as Jeff Tully went the distance working out of jams at ease posting a 3K 3BB 7H afternoon while only allowing one Titan to cross the plate late in the 7th. The Red Dogs hope to keep things rolling as they introduce the Cubs to their stomping grounds on the 26th for a double header.
