The Cantabs and Bombers locked horns in a good old fashioned barnburner in Somerville. The teams battled to a 0-0 tie into the 6th until the 'Tabs strung a few hits together to open the scoring. The Bombers answered back with a run to slice the margin to a single run. In the end, the Cantabs' Joe Perna was able to close the door to pick up a big win for Cambridge in their playoff push. He wasn't too shabby with the bat either, picking up 3 hits and the GWRBI. Wednesday's game marked the end of the regular season series between the Cantabs and Bombers. Good luck to the Bombers in the playoffs, a great bunch of guys who bring it each and every time they step on the diamond.
