After the Dodgers had the lead 4 - 1 in the top of the 3rd inning, the Padres woke up to support a strong pitching performance from the rookie Victor Jorge who stroke out 16 hitters out of the 21 outs he needed to earn his 6th straight win, Jorge just finished his regular season leading the league with 72 strikeouts in 43.2 innings of work in his first season in the BMBL.

Roberto Terrero had a great night at the plate connecting 3 hits, Luis Caro continue hot with another multi-hit game and Marcos Reyes with the important go ahead 2-RBI single in the bottom of the six inning to help the padres maintain the great second half of the season who have won 10 of the last 12 games.

The padres take the win over the Dodgers behind a stellar outing from Victor Jorge, who got all the scoring he needed on a RBI single by Luis Caro in the 1st inning and two more runs in the 5th on a RBI infield-hit by Julio Gonzalez. Victor Jorge dominated fanning 11 and allowing a run in seven innings.

Julio Gonzales had a multi-hit game.

Alex Ahmed connected the only hit (double) allowed by Jorge and scored the only run for the Dodgers.

The Spinners completed the weekend sweep Sunday with a 8-3 win over the Dodgers. Jay Gomes was 4 for 4 from the plate, while Isaac Valvidiezo added three hits and scored twice. Dan Blomerth pitched a complete game with six strikeouts.

The Dodgers scored a run in the sixth inning and rallied in the seventh, loading the bases and tacking on two more runs. Mike Sheehan, Brandon Linton and Jeff Hall scored for the Dodgers in the losing effort.

Tigers took advantage of some early wildness and miscues to plate 5 runs in the 1st and hold off a late rally to win 6-4.

Eric Harvey (CG, 2ER) picks up his 2nd win of the year scattering 8 hits and striking out 10, while JWest continues to lead the Tiger offense. Dodgers Brandon Linton had a bases loaded triple in the 5th and Sheehan had 2 hits.

A's TOP DODGERS

The A's bested the Dodgers 4-1 Sunday morning at Fallon.

A's rookie Matt Rosenzweig got the win, throwing five innings, yielding just for hits, and striking out eight. Rathapoom Asdonvuttikrao came in for the two–inning save, striking out four Dodgers.

At the dish, Dave Clarke had two doubles and scored two runs. And Jay Lamoureux went two for three with an RBI.

The Spinners moved into a tie for first place with a 5-3 win over the Dodgers in Cambridge Saturday night. Dan Blomerth pitched five and a third innings while striking out four. Ricky Salvia drove in a run in the second inning and scored in the fourth to break a 3-3 tie. Joe Tufo drove in an insurance run in the sixth inning. Salvia came on in the sixth inning for the save.

Drew Cumming and Dan Turner each drove in a run for the Dodgers.

Emmanuel De La Cruz earned his first win of the season with five strong innings allowing only 4 hits and 1 run while the padres has shown great offensive in the last two games.

Luis Caro had a great night going 4 for 4 with 3 runs, 4 RBIs, Jose Paulino made his debut connecting 2 hits while Juan Williams continue with his hot start going 3 for 3 on tonight victory over the Dodgers.

A's WIN OVER DODGERS

The A's stumbled out of the gate. And the Dodgers put up 5 runs in the first two innings.

But the A's bats finally got hot in the middle innings. They plated 11 runs in the third and the fourth.

Buddha Asdornvuttikrai paced all batters, going 2 for 4 with 3 RBI. Jordan Krall, Brett O'Keefe, and Jay Lamoureux added 2-hit games of their own.

Brian Mylett gutted out his first MABL win.

The A's take on the Spinners tomorrow night in Cambridge. The Dodgers next have the Orioles on Sunday.

The Red Sox got out to an early lead with Nick Radcliffes 2 run double in the 1st. Mike Hughes pitched 5 innings giving up 3 hits, 5 k's and no runs. Radcliffe finished up the game for the save as the Red Sox held on to a 2-0 win. Getting key defensive plays throughout the game with Dodger runners in scoring position.
