DesRoches throws 5 innings in relief to earn the win.

Offensively Rogers and Maguire lead the charge with Homeruns. Rogers homerun cleared the trees completely in RF at McConnell. Rogers and Barrett also had 3 hits a piece.

Luke Barkowski tossed a 4 hit shut out to keep the Beacons hopes alive! It was the 1st YBL victory for the 20 year old Dort Rat.

Jack Owens & Drew Tambling had 2 hits each. Each scored 2 runs & had an RBI. Alex Rockiki had 2RBI with a single. Kyle McKay went behind the plate after a long time and struck a 2RBI double in the first.

Brian Mylett tossed a 6.1 inning gem and ran into a wall in the 7th as he walked two lead off batters. The Beacons were stoked to a 5-1 lead and held on to win 5-4. Paul Fahey and Eric O'Brien combined to navb a runner at HP to end the festivities and plate a big win tonight.

Drew Tambling had 2 hits & an RBI. Robbie Lerro had an RBI single and plated another big run with a SAC fly.

Nice to see the kids compete so well against an excellent East Boston Knight ball Club!

Nate Hodor added 3 hits and Pat McClay continued his torrid hitting with 2 more.

For the McClay Club, Jack Owens had 2 hits and Matt Rokicki gave the Beacons a brief lead with a bomb of a two-out double in the first inning.

Stefan Botarelli goes the distance to help the Sabers defeat the Beacons 6-3

Botarelli pitched 7 strong innings, letting up only 3 hits, no earned runs, striking out 13 Beacons to earn his 3rd win of the season

After falling behind early the Sabers would battle back. Ryan Flanagan, Zack Graham and Mike Robinson would all reach base to load the bases. Travis Adams would score Flanagan on a ground ball. Angelo Colucci would then hit a clutch 2 RBI single to tie the game. Colucci would then later score and Jon Chapman would single in another insurance run to cap off the 5 run rally

Robinson would add another with a RBI single in the 7th to score Graham

Flanagan had 3 hits for Stoneham

Drew Tambling would hit a 3 run homerun in the 3rd for the Beacons

Sabers come back from behind late to edge the Beacons 4-3

Chris Dion went the distance, facing off against former Saber Greg Dubela. Dion let up 6 hits on 2 earned runs, while striking out 6 Beacons, to earn his 7th win of the season

Zack Graham would drive in Chapman in the 3rd

Beacons would add on 2 in the 4th, but the Sabers would battle back. Mike Robinson would hit a lead off single and end up scoring on a Rob MacDonald ground ball to tie the game

The Beacons would squeeze one across in the 6th, but the Sabers would battle back again. Angelo Colucci would hit a clutch RBI single scoring Robinson to tie the game. MacDonald would then hit a game winning RBI single to score Adams

The Stoneham outfield had its share of great plays. Nick Schauwecker robbed a Jack Owen's 3 run shot to right

Flangan and Colucci had 2 hits for Stoneham

The Dodger bats stay red hot in a huge win over the Beacons on a sticky Wednesday night at Mcconnell. With 3 runs in each of the first 3 innings the Dodgers grabbed an early 9-0 lead off Dubela.

Chris Michienzi kept the potent Beacon lineup off balance through 3, but couldn't hold as they broke through for 4 runs in the 4th and the 5th.

The Dodgers plate 5 runs in the the 5th to blow the game open and needed every run as Mckay made a game of it with 3 more runs in the 7th. Dougie "Fresh" English grinded through the last 3 innings to get the win for the Dodgers.

Huge 3 hit games for Billig, Ryan and Foote. Ryan apparently had an epiphany early in the game and after referring to himself in the 3rd person multiple times, promptly homered past a diving CF for his first career YBL HR. Foote also had a mammoth homer to right.

Tambling and Rokiki both homered for the Beacons and Caputo had 4 hits.

Dakota Happas continued his hot hitting with a 3-3 night. Happas, John Kostas and Brendan Wheeler each had 3 rbi, while Kostas and Freddi Carrera also chipped in with 2 hits apiece.

Lankarge goes the distance for his 20th career YBL win, improving to 4-2 on the year.

After Captain Jack Owens led off the game with a 1st pitch HR, starter Milciades Santana settled in, throwing 5 strong innings giving up 1 run on 2 hits, picking up his 5th win of the season.

Denny Valdez picked up the 2 inning save. His 90+mph fastball had the crowd at Jim Rice Field in a frenzy! Valdez struck out 7 in his 2 innings of work.

Offensively Jhiomar Veras was once again the star, picking up a double, homerun, and 3 RBI. Chris Deane and Rommel Peguero also picked up an RBI each.

Waltham, MA....After winning the first of the Split entrance double header the Knights were poised to complete the sweep on the day facing off against the pesky McKay Club. Kenny Luongo took the rock for the Knights and got the job done. Luongo went 5 innings allowing 4 runs (2 earned) and was the beneficiary of some offensive fireworks provided by the offense. The Knights plated 4 runs in the 2nd and single runs in the 4th and 5th chasing ace pitcher Greg Dubella in the 3rd inning. That would not be all for the Beacons as they clawed back into the game with 3 runs in the 4th but a bases loaded double by Brad Tardugno put the game out of reach. Things got interesting in the top of the 7th with the Beacons down 11 - 4 scoring 3 runs and at one time had the tying run on deck. Cory Laliberte worked though some trouble but got the job done for the home town team. The Knights win 11 - 7 sweeping the all-important division double header.

Sandini picks up the win in relief allowing 3 hits in 6 2/3 innings striking out 10.

McKay Club would jump out to a 4-0 lead through 1 on a Drew Tambling double scoring 2, followed by Kyle McKays 2r HR.

Rockies would chip away and tie the game in the 3rd on RBI's by Nate Laliberte and Kyle Rufo. Pete Oggeri would put the Rocks up for good in the 5th, knocking in Hartery who lead off the inning with a single.

Revere would put up 3 more in the 6th thanks to some heads up base running by Wong, who would score from 2nd on a ground out to short.

Chris Hartery and Kyle Rufo led the offense for the Rockies on the day, combined they were 4-5 on the day with a double and 3 RBIs.

Tom Fitzpatrick made a guest appearance to help his old mates defeat the Astros 9-2. Fitzy tossed 5 innings and scattered 3 hits allowing 1 earned run. Tommy will venture to the Future's League to play for Harwich.

Beacons plated 8 huge runs in the 5th. Highlight was 3 run sky rocket bomb by Drew Tambling. It was a classic Tam Shot into the trees for a triple. This all happened after two were out.

Long season ahead...but its good to win.

J.T. Ross picks up his second win of the season with a complete game four hitter. Greg Dubela picks up the loss going the distance for the Beacons.

Offensively for the Sox, Cam Owens had two hits, while Bill Reichmann, Kyle Ross, Joe Cloutier, Ryan Genua and Aqib Shah each had one hit apiece.

Kyle McKay, Rob Lerro, Ryan Manning, and Dylan Perez had the hits for the McKay Club.

DORCHESTER, MA.......The Knights continued thier 5 game road trip to start the season traveling to McConnell Park to face off against division rival McKay Club Beacons.

The Knights playing with a short handed crew came prepared to play as they sent ace Branden Eaton to the bump for his first start of the season and he did not disappoint. Branden worked 5 shutout innings allowing 4 hits and striking out 9. The offense did the rest.

Jose Paulino led the way reaching base safely all 4 times and scoreing 4 runs for the Knights. Chris Dowd was 4 for 4 with 4 RBI and now leads the YBL with 7 in 3 games.

Next up for the Knights Monday night at Trum vs Somerville.

Kyle Power stepped up large and tossed a one hitter thru 6IP and Jaky Higgins saved the day in the bottom of the 7th to help lead the Beacons to thier 2nd win of the season.

Drew Tambling (3-4) smashed a huge solo homer over everything to tie it in the top of the 7th. A's pitching walked two and hit two to allow the winning run to cross in that stanza.

Classic Al Thomas v McKay Club battle from first pitch to last. Brendan Wheeler almost sent Jaky Higgins and Dave McKay to the EW as he smashed a monster line drive that Jaky snared around his mug and tossed to 2nd base for a double play to save the game. WEW! That's why we do this thing every year. Two classy groups of kids knocking heads and playing hard-nosed baseball! NO BS!

Bryan Mylette got in and out of trouble in four full iinnings on the mound to help the McKay Club turn its opening night win over Savin Hill. Kevin Vally tossed 2 complete innings & Kyle Power came o in the 9th.

The Beacons responded to a 2-0 first inning deficit to score solo runs in the first 3 stanzas and 4 huge runs in the 4th.

Trinity College new guys: Jim Wood (2 for 4 & 3RBI) & Alex Rokicki (2 for 3 - 2 titanic triples 1RBI) enjoyed their first YBL game. Drew Tambling clocked a blazing triple into the trees for for an RBI triple, but was cut down at HP.

Savin Hill left 17 men on base...Ouch.
