and Mike Rose combined on the gem. Laurin also led
the Thunder with 2 hits and 2 rbi's. Tony Onello was
the other half of the battery and chipped in with a
hit, stolen base, and run scored. The Blue Sox were
paced by excellent pitching and solid defense
throughout the game.

The Blue Sox picked up their second win of the season as they topped the Tigers 11-9. Deb Sroczynski went the distance, striking out 8 while scattering 7 hits. The Sox led 11-3 going into the last inning and played great defense through six, but the Tigers battled back with 6 runs in the last inning. Judy O'Brien, Jen Pantalone and Yosi Fernandes all got key hits for the Blue Sox.
