The Grays & Brewers battled all night in Game 2 of a best of 3 series.

The Brewers scored first notching 1R in the second. They would keep that lead until the top of the 4th when the Grays scored 4R to take a 4-1 lead. The Grays held that lead until the bottom of the 5th when the feisty Brewers scored 4 runs of their own to take a 5-4 lead.

In the top half of the 6th inning the Grays bats answered back. Tad Beagley led the offensive charge in the 6th with a clutch 2 out, 2RBI single up the middle. In total the Grays scored 5 runs in the 6th to take a 9-5 lead. The Brewers scored 1 in the 6th to make the score 9-6.

Neither team scored in the 7th & SP Tom Plumitallo & the Grays picked up the W advancing to the Bay State Division Championship.

The "Brew Crew" had taken 2 of 3 from the Grays in the reg. season & were looking to build off of that by starting the 2012 MABL Playoffs with a win over the top-seeded Grays.

In Game 1 of a best of 3 series between the two squads, the Grays would jump out to an early 1-0 lead scoring one in the bottom half of the 1st.

The Brewers would hold off the Grays until the 4th when the Grays' bats began to come alive. The Grays would score one run in the 4th & two in both the 5th/6th innings to put the game away.

Bill Riggieri (Grays) continued his great pitching in 2012 by opening the post-season with a 9K, 6H, 0BB, CG shut-out performance.

The Brewers kept their playoff hopes alive behind the "Gutsy" pitching performance of Mike Gentile. He scattered 8 hits and had 8 K's to give the Brewers a 9-5 win. Kevin Salines lead the Brewers offense going 3-3 w/2-doubles and 3-runs scored. The other hitting stars for the Brewers:
Zach Dubin- 2 hits w/double and 2 RBI's
Dan Riordan- 2 hits w/double and 1 RBI
Joe Blotner- 2 hits w/2 RBI's
Ryan Sherlock- 2 hits w/2 runs scored.
Isaac Valdiviezo who delivered the key hit which drove in the 2 runs that secured the Brewers Victory.
The Tigers offense was lead by Scott Stevens who went 2-4 with a "Monster" HR and 2 RBI's

The Cliff saw its share of offense and walks tonight as the Cutters edged out the Brewers in a 5-inning affair cut short by lights.

The Cutters offense produced 9 straights hits to lead off the game that accounted for 5 runs. The Cutters would make it 10-4 before the Brewers battled back to take an 11-10 lead in the eventual last inning. Dave Galehouse delivered the game winner on a single through the hole to score Chris Ferland.

Eight Cutters had multihit games including:
- Galehouse, 3-4, (2) 2b, 4 RBI
- Michael Towne, 2-3, 2B, 3 RBI
- Steve Walsh 4-4, 3 R, 2B
The Brewers Kevin Salines had three hits including a HR.

Steve VanReenen led the hit parade for the Brewers going 3-4 w/3 RBI's. Kevin Salines, Zach Dubin and Joe Blotner chipped in with 2 hits each. Mike Humphrey pitched a strong 6 innings against a tough hitting Gray's team to pick up the win. Ryan Sherlock came on in the 7th to close things out for the save.
The Gray's offense was lead by Grant Emde and Morgan Montone who had 2 hits each.

The Brewers kept their playoff hopes alive with a 5-1 win over the Senators. Mike Gentile gave up only one run on six hits. Dan Riordan got the Brewers on the board with an RBI double in the fourth, and Kevin Salines drove in two runs on a single in the fifth. Steve VanReenan added the insurance with a two-run homer in the sixth.

Brewers bats explode for 12 hits against a tough Spinners squad for a 6-4 win.

For the Brewers it was a combination of Mike Gentile (6.1 IP 7H 4K) and Mike Humphrey (.2 IP 2K) that got it done on the mound. Zach Dubin went 3-3 with a double and 2 RBI's while Eddie Fernandez and Kevin Salines set the tone at the top of the lineup. Steve Van Reenan went 2-3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI's.

Mike Knell for the Spinners was a hard out to get all day while going 3-4 with a double.

The Brewers face the A's tomorrow night while the Spinners play the Grays next Saturday afternoon.

Mike Humphrey goes 5 strong and Jean Iona gets his first MABL win as the Brewers win a back and forth game before the rain starts on Saturday.

For the Brewers Jean Iona went 3-3 with a triple, Issac Valdiviezo goes 2 for 3.

For the Grays, Patrick Potter had 7 K's and pitched well in defeat.

Both teams were very sharp offensively, defensively, and on the mound.

Thanks to the Brewers for making the trip up to Maine to play on one of the best fields around.

Brewers win a tight game on an Eddie Fernandez game winning hit in the bottom of the 9th.

Sens would load the bases in the top of the 9th and score on a hit batter. Brewers would load the bases started by 2 singles by Landry and Meador. Dan Riordan would walk and Chris Smith would single to tie the game. Eddie Fernandez had the game winning hit to right field.

For the Sens Maryanski went 2-3 while Plant and Bracco went 2-4. Steve Lippi kept the Brewers off balance all day.

Both teams will head to Hadlock Field in Portland, ME for a Saturday afternoon game.

Big Eddie Rydzewski pitches a CG (W, 3 R, 5 H, 3 K's) and Pete Allain comes up with a clutch 2 run triple in the 6th to help pace the Tigers to a 6-3 win. Silk, West, Stevens, and Griffiths all have mutiple hits for the Tigers. Gentile pitched well for the Brewers.

The Spinners and Brewers met up for the 2nd time this season but the end resultwould be different than the 1st. The Spinners would strike quickly scoring 2 runs in 1st off a Danny Caceras (1 for 2, 1BB, 2RBIs) single and then score 2 more in the 2nd off some great base running by Mike Mori and a Knell single. The always reliable Dan Blomerth (4-1) would take the mound for the Spinners allowing only 2 runs, 1 off a Joe Blotner bomb double to left center and a Salines single but that would be the only runs the Brew Crew would put up.In the 7th Mike Tufo (2 for 3, 1BB, 1RBI) would drive in 1 more run for the Spinners. That would be plenty for Bo Gillette who pitched 3 scoreless innings helping give the Spinners the win.

Game 2 was the Sanatana show as he we t 5 innings with 11 K's for the O's. With Sanatana leaving in the 5th phil Meador singled and newcomer Garrett Larsson puts down the sac bunt to move him over. Nitz hits a screamer that couldn't be handled cleanly and the Brewers walk off with a 2-1 win. Gentile was on as he goes the distance getting it done with only 1 K.

Mike gentile picks up where he left off going 5 strong. Newcomer Mike Humphrey was strong in 1.2 innings in relief. Leading the offense was Dan Rioran doing 2-3 with a big double early. Newcomer Kurt Wadsworth was 2-2 with a pair of walks and Phil Meador provided a spark from the 9 hole

For the Sox McLaughlin went deep on a cold night and the offense produced 9 hits.
