The Reds scored three times in the top of the fourth inning erasing a 1-0 Chiefs lead on a Mike Giordano single, two Chiefs errors (one on the back end of a doubleplay ball that was thrown away), a hit batsman, a wild pitch, and a sacrifice fly from Luke Begley. Begley recorded his second RBI in the Reds' sixth when his infield grounder scored Brendan Casey who had singled. The Chiefs lone run came on a bases loaded walk to Nick Leva in the second inning. Matt Boleski had two of the Chiefs six hits and Steve Busby added a double for the Reds.
