Game 5 of the Finals did not disappoint with intensity and great all around baseball as both teams combined for five home runs and played stellar defense.

The Grays took an early 2-0 lead thanks to solo home runs by Mike Gulinello and Patrick Potter. Meanwhile CF Steve Baldassari and LF Greg LeBlanc kept some early Cutters rallies in check with some acrobatic outfield catches.

In the third, the Cutters would get one back after John D’Angelo doubled off the fence and Steve Lambert singled him home. The Cutters scored another three runs in the fourth highlighted by an Adam Del Rio double and a Jeff Coveney RBI single. In the top of the fifth inning, John Pollard stepped to the plate and hit his second 3-run home run of the series to give the Cutters a 7-2 lead.

Immediately, the Grays answered back in the bottom of the fifth. Baldassari drilled a 2-run home run to straight away center field cutting the lead to 7-4. Two bat

Grays win crazy game in Lynn. Grays jumped out to an 11-1 lead. The Cutters then scored 8 unanswered runs in the fifth and sixth innings to bring the score to 11-9. Matt Ferro then put in the dagger with his second HR of the game in the top of the 7th to give the Grays a four run lead at 13-9. Details to come.

Cutters take game 2 behind the arm of Steve Lambert and the bat of John Pollard.
Cutters score 3 times in the 2nd on rbi singles by Scott Ellis, Aj Bucciarelli and John Kostas. The Grays would tie the score in the 6th with a big 2 out hit by Jeff Radding scoring 2. Tad Beagley scores the tying run on a pass ball.
That set the stage for the bottom of the 6th. Bucciarelli led off with a walk, Kostas bunted him over. Lambert was retired and with 2 outs, Adam Del Rio knocks a dbl giving the Cutters the lead. Ramos was then intentionally walked setting the stage for Pollard who followed with a 3r HR to straight away center field on a windy day in Lynn, MA to give the Cutters the lead for good.

Patrick Potter for the Grays, remains on fire, going 3-4 w a solo HR.

Under a Hunters Moon, Matt Richard pitches a complete game, picks up the win in Game 1 of the Championship.

Cutters touch up Riggieri for 3 in the 1st and 3 in the 2nd, led by the 1-5 batters in the order: Aj Bucciarelli, John Kostas, Tony Ramos, Adam Del Rio and Steve Lambert. Combined on the night, the top 5 went 10-18, scoring 7 runs and knocking in 5.

Thats all Matt Richard would need as he cruised, allowing on 2 Grays to reach 2nd base in the first 5 innings. Grays broke up the shutout in the 6th on a RBI double by Ferro.

Richard vs Buika at Maplewood. Jays tie the series with a 9-1 win behind a strong performance from Buiks who went the distance striking out 11 and allowed 3 hits.

Jays offense was led by Dakota Happas, Jay Thomas and Ryan Gagne who all had 3 hits. Dana Levensaler and Rob Linn had 2 hits a piece, Linn's were both doubles.

Blue Jays score 2 unearned runs in the 1st off Matt Richard on 2 hits and an error. Cutters answer back in the bottom of the inning on an RBI double by John Kostas scoring Aj Bucciarelli who led off with a single and Adam Del Rio knocks in Kostas on a FC.

Matt Richard would buckle down, allowing only 2 hits the remainder of his start, pitching out of several jams until the 6th when Gagne would tie the game on a 2 out double scoring Stewart. Dave Galehouse comes up big in the bottom of the inning roping a double to center to score Scott Ellis to give the Cutters the lead. John Kostas knocks in 2 w 2 outs to give the Cutters some breathing room and Steve Lambert comes in the 7th to pick up the save.

John Kostas (2-3 2b 3rbis 3sb) and Dave Galehouse (2-3 2b 2rbis) lead the way for the Cutters.

Cutters offense was led by John Pollard (3-3), Tony Ramos (2-3) and Dave Galehouse (4-4 3rbis)who accounted for 9 of the Cutters 13 hits and all 7 of their runs.

Whitesox jump out to quick 5-1 lead after 2 1/2 but the Cutters woke up offensively to score 7 times to sweep the series. Tony Ramos (3-4, 2 runs scored, 1rbi) and Adam Del Rio (3-3 2 dbls, 2 runs scored 1rbi) lead the way for the Cutters. GWRBI came off the bat of Jeff Coveney who lined a double to right center scoring Ramos in the 5th.

Steve Lambert picks up the win in relief of John Kostas, throwing 5.1 innings of 2 hit ball, striking out 4.

Adam Del Rio picks up the complete game win, allowing 4 hits and striking out 5.

Cutters pushed 2 across in the first on an RBI single by Del Rio followed by a fielders choice. All was quiet until the 6th when Cutters loaded the bases w 1 out and took advantage of some miscues in the field to score 4 in the inning.

John Kostas led the way for the Cutters going 3-4 with a run scored and RBI.

Quinn Ryan went the distance notching his 2nd win of the year. The As took an early 2-0 lead in the first but the Cutters scored 4 in the bottom of the frame highlighted by a John Pollard double and a Steve Lambert triple.

After some addition runs plated for both teams, the game was knotted 5-5 in the bottom of the 5th. Jeff Coveney's 2-run, 2-out double brought in the eventual winning runs for the Cutters.

Three was the magic number for Matt Richard and the Cutters. Richard went the distance allowing three runs on three hits notching his third win of the season.

The Spinners jumped out to an early lead with a Danny Caceres 3-run HR. The Cutters battled back to tie the game 3-3.

In the sixth with two outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Cutters Scott Ellis fouled off numerous tough 2-strike pitches before knocking a single to right center to give the Cutters a 5-3 lead.

Offensively, the Cutters knocked out a season high six doubles.

Dakota Happas saved his own game. Hap allowed 1 run through 5 innings then put himself back in while telling other Jays players that the coach made the move. After calling his own number, he came in with runners on to finish the 7th with the tying run at the plate.

Nothing nothing game until Colin Confoey hits a homer and the Jays go up 2-0. Jays turn 2 nice double plays early on to help out Kyle Buika. Buiks moves to 3-0 and he moves his consecutive scoreless streak to 18 innings to open the 2011 season. Buiks went the distance. A big 4 run inning would be more than enough and the Jays move to 5-1 on this early part of the season.

Cutters score 4 in bot 5th to take 8-4 lead but in top of the 7th, Sens score 4 times to tie the game with a big 2 out triple coming from Maryanski scoring Laliberte, who came down from the clouds to huff and puff around the bases to score from 1st to tie the game for the Sens. Cutters go 1-2-3 in bot 7th and Game ends due to lights.

A great baseball game Monday nite as the Tigers pulled ahead late to hold off the Cutters 8-5 at Fallon. Earl Murphy's rbi single in the 3rd helped the Tigers jump out to an early 3-0 lead before the Cutters rallied with 4 runs of their own in the bottom half, highlighted with a Del Rio (2-3, 2 R) rbi single. The Tigers tied the game an inning later on Mike Knell's (2-4, RBI, R) single and would knock Richards from the game in the 5th, loading the bases and plating 4 runs capped with Gib's bases loaded single to score 2.

Rich Wlodarczyk (5 in, ER, 4 H, 3 K's) threw well in his return to the Tigers rotation. J. Lam picked up his 1st save of the year pitching a clean 7th to end the game. Knell, Murphy, Mikey Vernon, and T. "Cadbury" Walsh all had multi-hits for the Tigers. Booch and Del Rio each had two hits for the Cutters.

The Cutters jumped out to an early 7-0 lead on 5 runs in the 3rd, the big hit coming from John Deangelo scoring 2 but the Padres chipped away with 6 unanswered runs thanks to some bad breaks defensively in the 5th inning to allow 2 unearned runs to score. In the top of the 7th, Cutters plate 2 runs thanks to RBI's on back to back singles by Tony "Ram-Rod" Ramos and Scotty Ellis scoring new comer Steve Lambert (1-3 w dbl and 2 runs scored on the day) and Adam Del Rio for the eventual 9-6 win.

Matt Richard notched the opening day win for the Cutters while Adam Del Rio earned the save pitching 2 innings of no hit ball.

Richard picks up win, Del Rio does it all and Cutters offensively and on the bump earning the save
