Carlson Club wins game 5 and become Park League Champions for the second straight year. It was another pitching clinic put on by both Pablo Reyes and PJ Gouthro. Palmer drew first blood in the second inning when Stack came up with a clutch 2-out RBI single. The game remained 1-0 until the bottom of the sixth. With runners on first and second with two outs Josue Feliciano delivered a double into the gap scoring the tying and go ahead runs. Palmer would not go quietly though! In the bottom of the seventh they got the tying run to second base and with two outs pinch hitter Brian Reilly delivers a base hit to left where Willy Rojas made a perfect throw to home plate to get the runner and end the game. An incredible ending to a series where every game came down to the very last pitch. D-Ro and Vazques both had 3 hits in the game. Carlson Club takes a commanding 3-0 lead in the Finals with another great performance from their starting pitcher. Alejandro Suazo pitches a gem for Carlson scattering 7 hits, striking out 5, and only allowing 1 earned run. Suazo was also helped by his cather Edwin Pena who threw out two potential base stealers at second base with the tying run standing at third base. Quinn was just as dominant for Palmer but gave up the winning run on an overthrow from the outfield. Feliciano, D-Ro, and Rosario had multi-hit games for Carlson who are one win away from becoming back to back Champions.

A spectacular game played by both sides and for most of the game pitching and defense was the story. For Palmer PJ Gouthro pitched a gem throwing 7 innings of shutout baseball, scattering 5 hits. Unfortunately for Gouthro he ran into veteran Pablo Reyes who was just as dominant. Reyes threw 8 innings giving up only 4 hits and striking out 7 batters.

The scoreless tie was finally broken in the top of the 9th. Carlson had the bases loaded with one out when Malaret hit a grounder to short and a potential inning ending double play was broken up at second by D-Ro allowing the first run to score. Eddie DelCarmen was next to hit and he delivered the nail in the coffin and much needed insurance runs when he belted a 3-run HR to deep left center field.

Palmer would not go quietly! In the bottom of the ninth they scored 2 runs and had the bases loaded with nobody out when coach Nick Faggas decided to put the ball in the hands of their sho

Carlson Club comes away with game one in a very exciting back and forth battle. Carlson Club scores two in the 3rd and two in the forth to take a 4-0 lead going into the 5th inning in a game where Carlson starter Jarlin Gomez looked very dominant. Palmer capitalizes in the 5th when Gomez just couldn't find the strike zone and walked 4 batters mixed in with 3 hits and an error, they would score 6 to take a two run lead.

The Carlson Club bats were relentless all night though. They score one in the 5th to get withing one run. In the 6th they score 4 runs to take the lead for good. Julian Alvarez had a huge RBI double to tie game at 6 and Feliciano drives Alvarez in for the game winner. Wandy Rosario comes in in the 7th to get the save. DelCarmen(3-4, 2RBI), Diaz(2-3, RBI), and Malaret(2-3) all had multi-hit games for Carlson.

The Carlson Club is back in the finals to defend there title with an impressive win tonight. They came out on all cylinders from the get go scoring 9 runs in the first two innings. Rojas, Malaret, and E.Pena led the offense each having 3 hit nights. E.Pena had 5 RBI's on the night only needing a HR for the cycle. Feliciano, Vasquez, and DelCarmen also had a multi-hit game.

Yulkin German pitches a gem for the Carslon Club scattering 6 hits and only allowing one run. The Carlson offense was led by Wandy Rosario who had two key RBI doubles(2-2, 3RBI). German was also helped by two great catches in Center by Josue Feliciano.

The Carslon Club draws first blood with a victory in what was a very exciting game one. The Padres scored two runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning but Carlson responded quickly with 3 runs in the top of the 4th. After a leadoff single by D-Ro and a double by Malaret, Jarol Gonzalez came to the plate and delivered a line drive to right center to drive in two runs.

The Carlson Club was leading 6-2 going into the bottom of the 7th but the Padres would not go quietly. They scored 3 runs and got the tying run to 3rd base with two outs but veteran lefty Pablo Reyes came in to shut the door and earn the save.

Another come from behind win by the Carlson Club keeps them in the playoff hunt! Trailing by two runs in the bottom of the ninth D-Ro comes up big with a 1 out RBI triple. Gonzalez then comes up and gets a game tying single. After getting to second on a wild pitch, Gonzalez scores the winning run on a base hit by Malaret (4for4).

Pablo Reyes was the story of the game for the Carlson Club pitching a complete game scattering 6 hits allowing 3 runs only one earned. Rafael Pena went 4-4 and Marvin Malaret get a huge 2 RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to put the Carlson Club ahead for good.

Jackson tosses another complete game win racking up 9 k's in Cannon's come from behind win. Carlson had a 2-0 lead in the fifth after Diaz's Cleveland Cricle HR that rolled around the trees.

Ed Newton leads off the biig Cannon 5th with a triple to those trees. Base hits by cCue and Kiley score Newton and Whittier to tie it up. Baccari knocks a double down the line with two out to score them and Jackson does the rest.

Great pitching by Campion kept most of the Carlson hitters off balance all night. Multi hit games by McCue, Clemente, Newton (2 rbi), and Carter led Cannon's offense.

Feliciano hit a ball that landed on River Street to tie the game again in the 5th, but Cannon was able to bounce back and grab the lead in the 6th with insurance in the 7th.

Osvaldo Santana(2 for 3,3 rbi's) basesloaded clearing double in the 1st inning got the Padres off on the right foot, followed by a Glenroy James' missle to right-center for another run to lead 5-0 after one. Darwin Mesa kept the hitters pretty much in check only allowing 3 unearned runs in the 4th until running out of gas in the 6th, when Starling Arias came out of the pen to pick off the lead run from 2nd with 2 outs to end the inning then when on to pitch a clean 9th to get his 1st win of the season. In the bottom of the 6th Cashbee Calderon and Omar Kennedy pulled off a double steal for the lead run and then Chris Plant delivered the insurance with single to right.

Pitching and defense was the name of the game. Maurico Mendez notched his 2nd win of the season scattering 6 hits, with 4 K's. Rafael Monteiro(1 for 3)single to left in the 5th for the eventual game winner. Cashbee Calderon chipped in with 2 hits and an rbi. Dawin Hernandez robbed W. Rojas of extra bases in the 6th with an acrobatic catch in deep leftcenter, but the play of the game was on its last play when D. Rojas was batting with runners on 1st and 2nd when he hit a drive to right that short hop the fence Osvaldo Santana ran it down and dug it out of the bush and threw a strike to 2nd baseman Runel Lachapell(2 for 3), who threw a strike to catcher Greg Homer, who blocked the plate and tagged the runner to end the game. WOW Bigtime play!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After falling behind early, Dave Matthews kept ADSL in the game with three scoreless innings of relief. ADSL took advantage of walks and hit batters to score three runs in the top of the 7th capped off with a bases loaded walk by Justin Lasko.

Matthews came back out in the 7th and earned his first win of the season with a 7-6 win over Carlson. Delcarmen and Rojas both reached base three times to lead Carlson's offense.

Brian Ginsberg (1-3, 3 RBI) jump-started the ADSL offense in the 4th with a 2-run double to keep ADSL within striking distance.

Carlson Club scores late for a nice come from behind win against a very solid IV team. The offensive hero fro Carlson was once again Dorian Rojas (2 for 3, 4RBI). With Carlson struggling to score all game Dorian delivers a bases loaded single with 2 outs in the 5th inning to tie the score. D-Ro comes up huge again in the 7th when he delivers a 2RBI double to put Carlson ahead for good.

Park League Hall of Famer Pablo Reyes pitches 3 innings of scoreless relief to get the win for the Carlson Club.
