Brewers pitching was fantastic, led by All-Star starter Cary Atlsalis who didnt allow his only hit until the 5th inning, in a 6-inning shutout performance. Aram Manoukian tossed the final 3 frames, allowing just one hit and an unearned run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Offensively, all 12 Brewers in the lineup contributed at least one hit. Joe Creedon led the way with 3 hits, while Josh Weinstock had 2 (including a triple). Robert Moschella, Brett Rudy and Franz Strassmann also had a pair of hits. The third Creedon, brother Dan, visiting from Texas, chipped in a hit and RBI's in 3 of his 4 at bats. For Brockton, the lone run in the 9th came when Robert DeMarco was hit by a pitch and advanced to 2nd when Les Webber walked. Brian Ulatowski plated DeMarco on an infield chop that was too hard to handle. Dave Joseph also tossed 8 gutsy innings for Brockton in defeat.

A hard fought game by both teams and too many free passes added up to a high scoring shootout between Weymouth and Brockton. Both teams gutted it out and battled back with the Grays overcoming a 7 run defecit just to have Brockton score the go ahead run in the top of the seventh. But the Grays rallied back and scored 2 for the walk off win in the bottom of the seventh in the time shortened game..... Great game by both teams....

Fabian Alicea comes in relief in the 4th inning while the Panthers were down 7-5 and improved to 2-0 as the Panthers went on to score 9 more runs over the next 4 innings and never looked back... Excellent offense provided by Aundria Burcy going 4 for 6 with a SB, 2 RBI's and 2 runs scored...Fabian Alicea helped himself by going 2 for 5 with 2 doubles and 3 runs scored...Jose Toledano went 3 for 5 with a triple, 2 RBI's and a run scored...Kenny Pires once again put on an offensive show and remains HOT going 4 for 5 with a double and a triple, 5 RBI's and 2 runs scored...Omar Martinez also added 2 singles with a run scored and an RBI...Omar also caught 8 innings and looked great behind the plate.
