In one of the most memorable championship series you could witness, this one went to the wire.

Jays lead 1-0 in a pitchers duel with solid D from both sides. The Spinners come back and plate 2 in the 6th to take a 2-1 lead. In the bottom of the 6th Jays leave runners on 2nd and 3rd.

Move to the bottom of the 7th; Jake Stewart, Dakota Happas and Eddie Pickett hit 3 consecutive single to load the bases with no outs. Dana Levensaler hits a sack fly to tie it. Runners on 1st and 2nd, Rob Linn hits a grounder to 2nd and Spinners try to turn 2, Linn barely beats the throw to first. Happas never stops coming around from second and beats the throw to the plate and the Jays score 2 in the bottom 7th for the walk off win.

An unbelievable finish to a great 2010 season. Stephen Shortle goes the distance to pick up the win.

We will utter the 2 words we have said all year: HEY JAYS!

Spinners take game 2 behind a great pitching performance by Brennan.

Game 2 saw Spinners work horse Kevin Brennan taking on Cy Young winner Kyle Buika. The Spinners came out aggressive putting 2 runs up in the 1st on RBIs by O.Caceres and Brennan. The Spinners would give the Jays 2 runs back in the 2nd on three costly errors. But the Spinners would stay one step ahead of the Jays as they tried to battle back. In the 5th, Mori hits a huge triple and would later score the go ahead run on a Walsh sac fly. Spinners aggressiveness at the plate pays off as they had 10 hits on the day.

Brennan was the headliner of the game, as he has been all year for the Spinners. He contributed at the plate with 2 RBIs and finished the game on the mound letting up only 4 hits, no BB and 1 earned run.

Mori led the offense going 3-4 w/ a triple and a SB.

With Buika and Bell needing more rest the Jays turned to right fielder Dana Levensaler for game 1, his first career start as a Jay.

Early on the Spinners threaten. 1st & 2nd, 1 out, a liner to center where Ed Pickett was playing due to Confoey's suspension. Pick charges in to make the catch & doubles the runner off second to end the rally. The Spinners did break the ice first scoring on a wild pitch.

The Jays answer with a 3 spot. Taking advantage of 4 hit batters & getting enough hits when they needed them to go up 6-1. Rob Linn led the offense going 2-3, 3 RBI that included a key 2 run single down the 3B line.

With the exception or 1 or 2 balls, the Jays play solid D behind Levensaler including a few himself on the mound. He would go the distance striking out 3 & walking just 1.

Final 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 R H E
Blue Jays x x x x x x x 13 0 0
Cutters x x x x x x x 3 0 0

Jays take series 3-1 with an impressive 13-3 win missing their lead off hitter, 2 hitter, and cleanup hitter. On top of those 3 players not being in attendance having center fielder getting ejected on the first play of the game.

Steve Shortle went the distance and had solid D behind him. The Cutters hit some balls hard that the Jays outfield pulled in and Ryan "Gags" scooped a few at first.

Every Jays starter had a hit or reached base at least once. Nich "Baby" Bland led the way going 3-3 with a walk and a pair of bomb doubles. Bere, Thomas and Stewart all had multi hit games.

Hats off to the Cutters who are right there every year and Jay "Wiz" for going out and taking the ball again as he probably leads Boston amateur pitchers in appearances every year.

Jays take on a tough Spinners team in the finals who are the last thing in the way of the team's preseason goal.

Kevin Bell had one of the strangest pitching lines: 8IP 10K 11BB 2R 1ER. Bell would get the win moving to 5-2 and having the best season of his career.

The Jays started off the game with just 8 guys. They proceeded to play with just 8 till the 4th inning. Eddie Pickett would lead off the game with a single and score later in the inning on a passed ball. The defense will hold off the O's till the bottom of the 3rd. There were a few miscues by the defense and the O's would push across 2 and take a 2-1 lead.

The score would stay at 2-1 until the Jays would score a run in the top of the 6th on a strike out swinging that would get away from the catcher. The runner from second would score on a heads up play . In the top of the 8th Pickett would reach base and get moved over by a sac bunt by Bere. The Blue Jays use a pitching by committee, in which Ryan Gagne picks up his 1st win of the year. Brent Campbell gets the hold and Kyle Buika gets the save.
Both teams experienced some back luck playing on friday the 13th. The Jays capitalized on some miscues by the Sox defense. The Jays did not play well in the field or smart on the bases, but still pulled out a W!

Eddie Pickett lead the offense from the top of the order with a 2-3(3B, BB, SB, 2R) night. Jake Stewart also put a charge into one the hit high of the right field netting.

Jays take on the O's for the 3rd and final time this season on sunday.
