A's pull out the win in the bottom of the 7th on a Pat Vetter infield single.

The Grays put up 5 in the 3rd on a combination of key hits and miscues by the Athletics. The A's would fight back, though, as Talal Saleh went on to throw 4.2 innings of no-hit relief.

With the score 5-2, the A's loaded the bases in the 4th with three consecutive walks. Kyle Breidenstine then ripped a double to right-center field to tie the game. There would be no scoring again until the bottom of the 7th, when Tapper was hit by a pitch, Bo McIntyre hit a single, and Jamie Aldoupolis was intentionally walked. Vetter then drove in Tapper for the game winner.

The Senators extend the winning streak to 5 behind the arm of Matt Coyne. Coyne pitched all 7 and kept the Grays off balance all day, allowing one earned run, while striking out 8.

Rookie Steve McKeown was 4-5 with 3 RBIs and David Earl Timmons had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Key defensive plays were turned in by McKeown who gunned down O'Hara trying to stretch a single and a Rheault-Laliberte-Timmons double-play killing a 7th inning rally.

Reds take the win behind a complete game, 10K effort by Collin Johnson on the mound. Johnson also had a big day at the plate with 2 hits and 3 runs scored.

Dan Pope chipped in two hits of his own while playing great defense at SS, while Nowlin and Dumas would also contribute multi-hit games to the effort.

For the Grays, Potter had 2 hits, while O'Hara pitched well in defeat.

Chad Besegai and Tim Sheflin both had three RBIs and Shane Steffens pitched five shutout innings to lead the Rangers to a 12-1 in the rubber match against the Grays.

The Rangers put up six runs right away after each of the first six batters reached safely. After Nick Infusino was pulled, Alejandro Rodriguez pitched six innings, scattering ten hits to allow three earned runs.

Steffens allowed only two hits over his five innings, and Matt Dumont finished up the last two to complete the game.

The Spinners pick up there 2nd win of the weekend behind a solid pitching performance by Randy Casey, who picks up his 4th win.

Spinners jumped on top early scoring 3 in the first. The Grays answered back in the 2nd with a Homerun. After the homerun Casey settled down and the Spinners tacked on some more runs.

The combo of Bonard and Alcott led the charge with 3 hits and 2 RBI a piece. D.Caceres pitched in with 3 RBI and 2 hits.

Tigers win 5-0 behind another Eric Harvey CG-SH (101 pitches, 10K, 5H, BB). The Tigers took advantage of walks and the Gray's wildness to plate 2 runs in the 2nd & 3 more in the 3rd, giving Harvey more than he needed. For E. it was the 5th time this year he's fanned 10 or more batters in a game and the CG SO was his 3rd THIS YEAR!

The Tigers outfield continues to come up big for the Tigers with Nick Mirabello (2 HBP, 2 RBI's, SB) and Mike Byrne (1-2, 2 RBI's,SB) coming up with clutch RBI's for the Tigers. Rodriguez pitched well in relief for the Grays & Potter had 2 hits in the lost.

WP - Casey

The Spinners pick up a win at sunny Scituate High School. Casey went the distance and pitched a solid game despite having to really work for outs in the 3rd with the Spinners making 3 errors. But they made it up with the bats putting up 14 runs.

Rookie Steve Walsh led the charge going 3-3 with two doubles and a BB. Greg Megadesian also reached base every AB with a 1B and 3 BB.

Great team effort with a extra small bench.

The Senators win their second straight with a total team effort. Mike Cook turned in another masterful performance allowing 1 unearned run on 3 hits while striking out 9.

Offensively, everyone contributed. Nate Laliberte got the Sens on the board first with a home run in the 2nd. Jon Rheault then drove in the winning run in the 3rd with a single. Multiple hit games were had by Bill Sinopoli (2B,3B,R,RBI), John Maryanski (2-3,2R,BB), Laliberte (2-3,HR,2R,RBI), Matt Meuse (2-3,2R,2RBI), and Jon Rheault (2-4,2RBI).
