The O's finished their season on a high note as Chris Vecsey hurled a commanding complete game shutout, with 15K's. Vecsey struck out the side in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th innings.

The game was knotted in a scoreless tie until the bottom of the 5th inning, when 7 consecutive O's batters reached base. Mike Ballard got the scoring started with an RBI double and was followed by singles by Mike Stasio (2RBI) and Jason Bressner (RBI).

Chris McGeary added an RBI single in the 6th for the game's final run.

Bo Gillette threw a complete game for Orioles, scattering 5 hits.

In the 3rd inning, Gillette would get all the run support he would need as the O's batted around and plated 4. Bobby Shady, Chris McGeary and Mike Ballard each chipped in with an RBI apiece.

Kevin Bell had one of the strangest pitching lines: 8IP 10K 11BB 2R 1ER. Bell would get the win moving to 5-2 and having the best season of his career.

The Jays started off the game with just 8 guys. They proceeded to play with just 8 till the 4th inning. Eddie Pickett would lead off the game with a single and score later in the inning on a passed ball. The defense will hold off the O's till the bottom of the 3rd. There were a few miscues by the defense and the O's would push across 2 and take a 2-1 lead.

The score would stay at 2-1 until the Jays would score a run in the top of the 6th on a strike out swinging that would get away from the catcher. The runner from second would score on a heads up play . In the top of the 8th Pickett would reach base and get moved over by a sac bunt by Bere. This would set up KBell to take the lead with a single and that is what he did. The Jays would hold off the threat in the bottom of

Mike Stasio earned the win with six innings of two-hit ball while Kevin Glass led the O's offense with this fourth HR of the season, a three-run blast. Bo Gillette pitched the final frame to earn the save and quell a Tigers rally.

For the Tigers, Jack Lamoreaux threw three solid scoreless innings out of the pen to keep the game close throughout.

Matt Richard back from Atlantis looking tan, picks up the complete game win.

Cutters score 3 in the 1st on 4 straight hits and that is all Matty would need retiring 8 in a row at one point.

Adam Del Rio and Jeff Coveney knock in 2 runs a piece.

Matty gets the win, Cov sees the cleavage and Deli knocks in 2

Mike Ballard broke a scoreless tie with a 2-run blast in the 6th, providing Chris Vecsey with all the run support that he would need. Vecsey took a no-no into the 6th and finished with a complete game four-hitter. He also helped himself at the plate with an RBI single to drive in the Orioles' final run.

Proud papa Vecsey notches another W and Ballard goes deep to power the O's offense.

After a long layoff, Kyle Buika strong again and the Jays play good defense to top the Orioles 6-1 at Saint Peter's.
Buiks goes the distance for the Jays. A third to home to first double play in the top of the first ended an Oriole rally. Nich Bland hits a solo homer to tie the game at 1. Jays plate 4 later in the game and Eddie Pickett reached base safely all 4 times.

The O's bounced back with a flourish in Game 2 of the doubleheader. The first 6 hitters of the game all reached base to provide starter Bo Gillette with a lead that would not be relinquished.

Gillette and Chris Vecsey combined to scatter 4 hits, while Mike Stasio and Kevin Glass each chipped in with a pair of RBIs. Glass' second came on a long solo HR.

Stephen Shaw came out of the pen for the White Sox to pitch 7 strong relief innings, allowing only 1 ER.

Sox survive a 7th innning threat and win game 1 of the double header behind a strong outing from Tomaro. Clemente was 3-4 with an RBI 2B. Settling down after the 1st, Tomaro went the distance to go to 4-1. The weather was not cool.

The Reds pulled off a back and forth battle in the heat at Jones field thanks to Dan Wilson working out of a 2nd and 3rd, one out jam in the 9th. The Reds followed that up with a pair of singles from Ciano and Pope and the eventual game winning single from Steve Altmann.

Ciano had a big day in his return to the line-up reaching base safely in 5 of 6 at bats with 3 rbi's and an outfield assist.

The Orioles used the long ball to put up 7 of their 10 runs with a solo and 3-run bomb from Glass and another 3-run jack from Solini.

Chris Vecsey picked up his 4th victory of the season, allowing only 3 hits in 6 innings and striking out 11. He also chipped in offensively with a pair of hits including a 2-RBI double.

A number of Orioles had big games with the bats, led by Eric Fudeman (4-5, R, 2RBI) Jordan Krall (3-5, 3R, 2RBI) and Kevin Glass (2-4, BB, 2R, 4RBI).

For the DBacks, Omar Ortiz led the charge with a pair of hits, a walk and 2 runs scored. Also, Victor Ruiz hurled a solid game, collecting 10 K's in 6 innings of work.

Vecsey wins again; Fudeman with a big day at the plate; Delossantos helps out behind the dish and gets a couple of hits.

In a good ball game that went back and forth, the Jays prevail 4-2 behind Kyle Buika. Buiks does it again getting his fifth win throwing a complete game with 11 k's allowing 1 earned run.
The game had several good defensive plays on both sides. On a very wet, slow infield, a key play; on a slow roller to short, Dakota Happas fakes a throw to first and tags out the baserunner at third who had taken a big turn.
Eddie Pickett with great baserunning all day taking 4 extra bases on balls that were blocked by the catcher.
Rob Linn breaks a 2-2 tie late in the game with a 2 run single.
