A's pull out the win in the bottom of the 7th on a Pat Vetter infield single.

The Grays put up 5 in the 3rd on a combination of key hits and miscues by the Athletics. The A's would fight back, though, as Talal Saleh went on to throw 4.2 innings of no-hit relief.

With the score 5-2, the A's loaded the bases in the 4th with three consecutive walks. Kyle Breidenstine then ripped a double to right-center field to tie the game. There would be no scoring again until the bottom of the 7th, when Tapper was hit by a pitch, Bo McIntyre hit a single, and Jamie Aldoupolis was intentionally walked. Vetter then drove in Tapper for the game winner.

Talal Saleh throws six innings, giving up 3 ER and striking out 11.

The Red Sox scored 7 runs in the bottom of the 3rd to take a 7-6 lead. The A's would tie it up in the 5th on a Jason Kurtz RBI single and took the lead in the sixth on a Bo McIntyre SAC fly. They wouldn't look back as Steve Kapuza shut the door in the 7th for a 1-2-3 save.

In Game 2, the A's cruise to the victory smashing 16 hits for the game. Breidenstein earns the win and Komins once again does well at the plate, finishing the day 5-7 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Jamie Aldoupolis is huge in the double header going 6-8 at the plate with a double and 1 run scored.

Mike Ballard broke a scoreless tie with a 2-run blast in the 6th, providing Chris Vecsey with all the run support that he would need. Vecsey took a no-no into the 6th and finished with a complete game four-hitter. He also helped himself at the plate with an RBI single to drive in the Orioles' final run.

Proud papa Vecsey notches another W and Ballard goes deep to power the O's offense.

The Brewers picked up their second win in the a row in a great pitchers duel. Mike Gentile notched his third win of the year going the distance and striking out 6. The Brewers picked up all 2 runs after a Andrew Sambuco single up the middle in the 4th inning. Roberts and McClorey provided excellent outfield defense tracking down many well hit balls in the later innings.

Dan Lambrecht pitched a complete game, striking out nine, and helped his cause with an RBI single in the sixth to lead the Rangers past the Athletics. Matt Dumont added a two run single to cap a four run sixth.

For the Athletics, Nick Tapper hit a two run blast over the netting in right field.

The Tigers returned home Sunday rallied for 5 runs in the final 2 innings beating a scrappy A's team 5-1 pushing their win streak to 6 games. A's starter Steve Kapuza (5.2 in, r, 2h, 3k) was the story early on as he took a no-no into the 6th before the Tigers finally awoke from their slumber. Tigers smokin' hot hitter Jon Mayes would help the Tigers tie the game in the 6th with an RBI single. Then in the 7th, the Tigers would take the lead on an error, Field single, and Mikey Vernon RBI single. John Silk (2-4, 2r, 2 RBI) & Mayes (2-4, 2 RBI) helped give the Tigers some cushion going into the bottom half of the 7th.

J. Lam picked up the W in relief working a scoreless 6th & 7th. Both Tiger starter Josh Vernon (0 ER, 4 h, 4 k) & Brian Houlding pitched well helping to keep the Tigers in the game. A's stud Nick Tapper had a mutiple hit game for the A's.

JT Mooney throws another complete game, surrendering 1 ER and 3 hits while striking out six.

The A's got on the board in the first with a leadoff triple by Alan Donaruma and an RBI groundout by Jay Lamoreaux. The Cutters tied it up in the 5th on a RBI single by Mike Fectow.

Justin Komins helped the A's produce a run in the bottom of the 5th after reaching on an error and moving to second on a bunt single by Donaruma. He then made a timely steal of third on a bunt attempt. Kyle Breidenstine drove him in for the game-winner through a drawn-in infield.

A good ball game back and forth at Fallon would see several lead changes and a game that went extra innings.

A's rally in the 6th inning to come within one run and then with 2 outs in the 7th and a runner on 3rd base and a 1-2 count a clutch single for the A's to tie it.

In the bottom of the 8th with 2 outs and Jake Stewart on second base, Nich Bland singles to left and on a bang-bang play at the plate, Stew with a great slide and the Jays win in walkoff fashion.

Happy Fathers Day to Dakota Happas who picks up the win and Nich Bland who was 2-2 with the game winning RBI.

The Spinners manufactured their only run in the bottom of the first with a double by Mori and a SAC fly by Alcott. Rookie JT Mooney would settle down the rest of the way to throw his 2nd consecutive CG, giving up no more runs, allowing only 4 hits (none past the second inning), and striking out 6.

The A's scored in the 2nd inning on an RBI single by Kyle Breidenstine. Nick Tapper provided another RBI single in the 3rd. The A's put up two insurance runs in the 6th on a double by Jamie Aldoupolis and RBI singles by JT Mooney and Justin Komins.

For the Spinners, Randy Casey threw a complete game, surrendering 4 earned runs on 8 hits, while striking out 10.

The White Sox edged the A's 3-0 in the second straight meeting between the teams. The White Sox plated three runs in the third for the only scoring in the game. Wlodarczyk pitched five shutout innings to lead the Sox. Rookie reliever Shaw closed the game with a scoreless outing. Saleh pitched an excellent game, but White Sox pitching kept the game out of reach.

On a windy day in Charlestown, Nick Tapper and Pat Vetter hit back to back RBI triples in the 3rd inning to plate 2 runs for the A's. The A's manufactured another run in he 4th on a double by Donaruma and SAC fly by Justin Komins.

The White Sox scored three of their own in the 4th through a combination of A's walks, an HBP, an error, and a 2 RBI single by Jon Naumowicz. The A's took the lead for good in the 5th and a single by Lamoureux, a double by Tapper, and RBI's by Vetter and Breidenstine.

A's rookie JT Mooney threw a complete game, surrendering only 3 hits and 1 earned run while striking out 5. Hubbard threw well in defeat, throwing a complete game himself and surrendering 8 hits and 4 earned runs while striking out 7.

Nick Tapper and Pat Vetter combined for 5 RBIs to lead the A's past the Senators in Roxbury on Monday night. JT Mooney secured his first MABL victory with 2 key innings of relief.

The A's scored three in the top of the first on a 2 RBI triple by Tapper followed up by an RBI double by Vetter. The Senators scored two of their own in the bottom half on a SAC fly by Kenny Luongo and an RBI triple by John Maryanski. Pat Vetter would drive in 2 more in the 5th with a single, going 3-4 on the day.

On the typically rough infield at Clifford park, only 6 of the 16 runs scored in the game were earned.

The A's edged the Blue Jays behind a CG shutout by Kyle Breidenstine in a game that lasted only one hour and 20 minutes.

Patrick Vetter drove in the only run of the game in the top of the first inning. Other than the only run, no runner would get past second base for either squad.

For the A's, Jay Lamoureux was 2-2. For the Blue Jays, Kyle Buika threw well, pitching 6 innings, surrendering 1 ER while giving up 4 hits and striking out 4.

The Jays get their 1st win of the season! Kyle Buika goes 6 strong innings letting up only 1 run. The offense was lead by Chris Deane and Ryan Bere. The defense played well and had a strong showing at first by Jay Thomas who saved many throws by Jays infielders.
