Tigers 1 0 1 4 0 0 1 7 9 4
Eire Pub Red Sox 0 4 0 0 0 0 0 4 6 2

Tigers sweep season series with the Red Sox with a come from behind win at a muggy Chelsea H.S.. The Tigers would score first on a Harvey 2B(2-4, 2 R), Coop single, and Stevens (2-4, 2 RBI) RBI single to right. In the 2ed, the Sox took advantage of 3 Tiger errors leading to a 4-1 Sox lead. However, Houlding would settle "the pack" after that, allowing the Tiger bats to awaken for 4 runs in the 4th, highlighted by a Dan Field 2 run 2B, that was robbed of a HR by the tree in left. Houlding was brillant for the Tigers, sweating out bullets through 6, scattering 4 hits, 4 BB, and 4 K's, before "closer" J. Vern (yes Josh Vern) worked the 7th for the save.

DelVecchio and Hammond both had multiple hits on the day for the Sox.

Eric Harvey helps put Tigers back in win column going 6 strong in win over Sox. The Sox would take the early 1-0 lead before the Tigers answered back with 4 runs in the bottom half of the inning on a BB, FC, Harvey RBI single and Gib-Vern double steal. A Coop SAC fly the next inning would be more than enough cushion for E. Harv (6 in., 0 ER, 4 H, 2 BB, 4 K) who pitched very effectively. The Tigers would add some insurance runs in the 6th, lead by RBI singles from Gib (3 RBI's, 2 SB) and Byrnie (2-3, 2 RBI's, R). The Sox threaten in the 7th, however it wouldn't be enough to overcome.

For the Sox, Sam DelVecchio chipped in with 2 hits and Jon Letourneau pitched well going the distance. Byrnie, Stevens, and Field each had mutiple hits for the Tigers in the win. The series concludes tomorrow morning in lovely Dorchester.

Long night ends well, as Houlding allows Tigers to "dodge bullets" at Clifford.

On a sloppy field, "Bri Guy" Houlding (5 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 5 K's) in his return to the starting rotation, pitched well helping the Tigers pick up their 3rd win of the young season. The offense scored early and often for the Tiggers led by leadoff Dimer Field (1-4, 3 R, RBI, SB), Scotty Stevens (2-3, 2 R's, 5 RBI's) and T. "my man" Walsh (3-4, 3 RBI's). The Sox, led by Cooper (2-3, R, 3 RBI's) fought vallantly tacking on 4 runs in the 4th and 3 more in the 7th, but it wouldn't be enough to overcome, as Tigers win 11-8...

Stevens (2-3, 2 R's, 5 RBI's) & Houlding (W, ER, 2 BB, 5 K's)
