Anthony Tomaro scatters 3 hits and 1 run over 6 strong innings to push the White Sox forward to the Championship Series. The Sox win the series 3 games to 1.

Tomaro worked 12 innings in the series giving up a total of 4 hits while striking out 9.

Jon Naumowicz led the Sox with 2 hits and 3 RBI.

The Reds scored in the bottom of the third to narrow the Sox lead to 3-1. With runners on 1st and 2nd in motion and 0 outs, Chris Dumas lined a shot up the middle. Short-stop Ivan Clemente made a great play on the ball, stepped on second and tagged the runner from first to complete the unassisted triple-play, swinging the momentum in the Sox favor.

The Reds are a clutch team that gave us all that we could handle. Thanks to the 2008 champions for a great series.

Mike Morgan was the offensive star of the game driving in 6 runs. Ivan Clemente scored 4 runs and drove in 2. Anthony Tomaro had 3 hits

Jon Naumowicz hits a 2-out, 2-run walk-off single as the White Sox take a wild first game 7-6.

Anthony Tomaro gave up 1 hit over 6 innings while striking out 6 before the wheels fell off for the Sox in the top of the 7th.

In the bottom of the 7th, Ivan Clemente broke up a game ending double-play with a nasty baseball slide into second. Mike Pollak drove a liner off Brett Nowlin's (losing pitcher) leg to drive in the 5th run. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Jon Naumowicz, in typical Naumo fashion, singled over 3rd base to score the tying and winning runs.

League MVP Jon Pollard picked up the win despite struggling in the 7th.

Mike Lembo had a 2-run single off starter David Callaghan to put the Sox up 3-0. Nate Butcher was 2-3 with a Run. Mike Pollak was 2-4 with an RBI and 2 Runs. Jon Naumowicz was 2-4 with a Run and 2 RBI.

The Reds punched their ticket to the next round thanks to a 7-inning, 0 ER outing from Mike Knell.

The game was busted open in the 2nd inning due to some defensive miscues and heads-up base-running by the Reds.

Congrats to the Tigers on a successful post merger season.

The Reds and Tigers lock up in a pitcher's duel at Chelsea HS.

David Callaghan and Eric Harvey were pretty much the only story in this one, with both pitchers going the distance and neither allowing an earned run.

The difference in the game was the bottom of the 3rd when a leadoff walk to Nadolny and a defensive miscue allowed the Reds to have runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs. Nowlin drove in the eventual game winner with a single to left. The Reds threatened to bust things wide open in the inning but with one run already on the board and the bases loaded, Harvey recorded three huge strike outs to keep his team close.

One run was all the Reds would need as Callaghan dominated throughout, not allowing a base-runner to get past 2nd and only allowing 1 hit.

Reds got out to an early 3 run lead in the 3rd thanks to a 2-rbi triple from Melia. Cutters immediately answered in the bottom of the 3rd with a 5-run inning highlighted by a Tony Ramos 3-rbi double.
Reds tied the game at 5 in the top of the 4th with the 7-8-9 hitters reaching base followed by a sac fly from Garabedian and an rbi single from Melia.
The game remained tied until the 10th when Knell led off with a double followed by a Ruggieri single. The go ahead run was driven in on a single from Bloomer.
Thanks to two errors in the bottom of the 10th, the Cutters threatened to tie the game on a double from Moloney, the tying run was cut down at the plate on a throw from Ruggieri in LF to seal the win and the Bay State division title for the Reds.
Matthews showed off his rubber arm throwing all 10 innings for the Cutters while the Reds used an effective combo of Gara, Allen and Callaghan who picked up his league leading 8th win.

Rich Wlodarczyk throws 7 strong innings scattering 4 hits and striking out 8 while yielding only 1 unearned run to earn his 6th victory.

The Reds held a 1-0 lead into the 6th inning off a 1st inning RBI single by Mike Knell.

The White Sox put together 4 hits in a row in the 6th including an RBI single by Mike Morgan and a 2-run double by Jon Naumowicz.

Chris Allen pitched a very good complete game 6 hitter in defeat for the Reds.

Reds win a thriller in extra's. Clutch two out hits in the first, fifth and eigth...good defense and David Callaghan were the story of this one. Grays played extremely well in defeat.

The Reds jumped out to an early lead that they would not give up on an extremely hot day at Kelly field.

Nadolny took the win on the hill by going 4 innings. Nadolny helped his own cause by scoring twice and driving in two runs. Dumas added 2-rbi of his own while Nowlin drove in 4 runs.

The Reds and Red Sox played a close game throughout. All tied up in the top of the 8th, the Red Sox plated an unearned run to take the lead. The Reds came back scoring two unearned runs of their own for the walk off win.

Letourneau, Delvecchio and Spidle all had multi hit games with an rbi each. For the Reds, Knell had 2 hits, 2 rbi and pitched well through 7+.

The Quincy Grays were able to come out on top in a pitcher's duel. Grays starter Jay O'Hara and Reds starter David Callaghan held both teams scoreless through 5 innings. Callaghan had also only given up two hits through 5. However, the Grays offense came alive in the 6th inning with a double by Chris Barrientos and then an RBI single by Tad Beagley. They tacked an insurance run on in the 7th inning with Jack O'Leary knocking in Nate Hendrickson, who had reached on a triple. Jay O'Hara picked up the complete game shutout victory.

Reds win a wild one at Clifford, coming back from 4 down in the last inning to take the walk off win on a Chris Allen double.

The Reds took a lead into the 6th when the Senators offense exploded for 5 runs capitalized by a Laliberte 3-rbi triple.

The Reds fought back in the bottom of the 7th with the offense getting started thanks to the bottom of the order getting on. After the Reds flipped the order, Melia had an rbi single followed by a Dumas 2-rbi double and capped off with the Chris Allen walk off.

Meuse, Laliberte and Sinopoli all had huge offensive nights for the Senators with 3 hits each.

In a back and forth game, the Reds take the win behind a complete game from David Callaghan.

The Senators got on the board in the first with a double steal that scored a run. Reds tied the game in the 3rd thanks to an rbi single from Garabedian. Senators came back an inning later with a two-run pool shot from Laliberte.

The Reds came back with two of their own in the fifth thanks to a Knell 2-rbi single and pulled ahead for good in the top of the 7th with an rbi double from Dumas who later scored an insurance run thanks to a sacrifice grounder from Knell.

In the first meeting since game 5 of the 2008 Bay State divisional championships, rookie Bob Sinopoli and Jon Rheault and their battery-mate Matt Meuse combine to no-hit the second place Reds. In a spot start, Sinopoli was dominant through 5 with 8 Ks. In the 6th, Jon Rheault relieved Sinopoli when a blister prevented him from continuing. Rheault secured the win, pitching two perfect frames while also earning his second career no-hitter.

Offensively, things were also quiet for the Sens until the 7th when Matt Coyne (BB) and Matt Meuse (2B) were driven home on a single by Greg Conant.

Reds starter Mike Nadolny pitched well in defeat.
