The Testa Corp. Bombers clinched a playoff berth with a 6-3 win in the second game of a DH at "The Stadium" Pete John led offense with a two run homer and Jay Defillippo celebrated his return to the lineup from a broken hand with a tow run single. Gately's "Dragon Nakumura" made his debut on the mound and got out of a big jam getting Aaron "Fink" Finklestein to ground out back to him as he raced to the bag to end the inning.

Matt Gedman hit his second home run of the season and was 3-for-3 with 2 runs and 2 RBI.
Tom Klem improved to 3-0 with 5 IP. He walked none, struck out 2 and gave up 3 hits and an unearned run.
Jeff Nolet had 2 hits, scored twice. Jared McGuire also scored twice for Sox.
Samuel Jackson and T.J. Murphy had RBI singles in the four-run sixth for Gately.

Cassell won its 6th straight behind the strong pitching of Tim Dunphy (Brandeis). Dunphy went the distance to pick up 3rd win of the season, allowing only five hits and one earned run, while striking out a season high seven.

The game was tied 2-2 going into 6th until Jeff Paquette (Fitchburg State/Toronto Blue Jays) singled and Aaron Santos (Endicott) delivered the big blow with a two run HR to right-center field. Santos ended the game with three hits, and Chuck Sheehan (Brandeis) and James Likis (Brandeis) each had two hits.

For Gately Mark Piantedosi provided a strong effort on the mound and Peter Copa provided the big hit to tie the game up in the 5th.

Cassell was paced by an 11 hit attack to win their 16th game of the summer. Teddy O'Reilly (UConn) hit his 1st home run of the season and scored three runs to lead the charge. Josh Mackey (Southern Maine), Teddy Dziuba (Babson/NY Mets), Bobby McCarthy (Merrimack), and Aaron Santos (Endicott) all had two hits for Cassell.

Nick Kelley (Endicott) got his 4th win of the season, going 4 2/3 and striking out 5. Marty Sheehan (Union) picked up his 1st save of the season, going 1 1/3 innings and getting out of a crucial 5th inning jam.

For Gately, Samuel Jackson and Geb Bumpus reached base twice.

The Testa Corp Bombers defeated the Gately A's 4-2 Thursday night at East Boston Stadium. Nick Martinho lead the offense driving in 2 runs, one by way of a triple. Pete John also did his part by going 2-3 with 2 runs scored, and stole 2 bases and also drove in a run. Anthony Del Prete got his 6th win of the season striking out 9. Bobby Barrett delivered the other run with a sacrifice fly in the 3rd.

Cassell jumped out to an early 6 run lead behind a 5 run 2nd inning. Leading the hitting attack for Cassell was Josh Mackey (Southern Maine) and Josh Klimkiewicz (Harvard). Mackey was 3 for 4 on the day with 2 doubles and Klimkiewicz hit his 3rd home run of the season and drove in 4 RBI. Tim Dempsey (UMass-Lowell) returned to the Cassell lineup and went 2 for 3 and Aaron Santos (Endicott) reached base all 3 times. Teddy Blank (Amherst) got his 1st win of the season going 5 innings, only allowing 4 hits while striking out 5.

For Gately Jesse Bruinsma had 2 hits and scored a run and Ricky Salvia scored a run after reaching base on a long triple to right field.

After The Medford Americans jumped out to a quick 4-1 lead, the Gately A's bats finally came alive and plated 2 runs in the 4th in 2 in the 6th to pull off the win. Jeff Wojnar led the A's going 3-3 with 2 doubles while reliever Dan Blum held the Americans scoreless through 3 innings of relief to get the win.

Medford Starter Orazio Azzarello pitched well going the distance despite getting the loss.
Bill Smeglin went 2-3 with 2 doubles for the Americans.

Nick Martinho broke a 4-4 tie with a solo home run in the 6th and the Bombers tacked on 3 more runs in the inning on a 3-run home run by Jonathan Pollard to beat the Gately A's 8-5 Sunday evening at Pine Banks. Mark Adessa picked up the win in relief and Jake Kelley earned his second save of the season as the Bombers remain unbeaten in their last seven contests. Bobby Barrett and Pete John each knocked in a pair of runs with doubles for Testa Corp.

Gately scored 5 runs on the day despite only getting 2 hits. Reliever Dan Wilson (0-1) picked up the loss after entering a tied game in the 6th.

Nick Conway picked up the win for the Athletics with a dominant performance (7IP,5H,11K). He shut out the Blue Sox until a mini-rally in the bottom of the seventh plated them 1 run.
The Athletics scored a run in the top of the 1st on a fielder's choice and a run in the top of the 5th on a single by Bill Manley.
Sam Steed (5IP,6H,2ER,7K) picked up the loss for the Blue Sox. Tom Klem came in for the final two innings and ended up striking out 5 of the 7 batters he faced.
The Blue Sox got their run in the bottom of the 7th on a bases loaded single to left field by Dan Haugh. Sean McElroy scored on the hit, but Jared McGuire got thrown out at home.

Gately righthander Nick Conway shut down the Americans in a dominant complete game performance as the A's coasted to a 9-0 victory at Playstead Park.

Conway, in complete command all the way, toyed with the American hitters, striking out 16 and tossing no hit ball for 4.2 innings before Mike Burgoyne lined a clean single into right to break up the no hit bid. Conway, who walked only two, would give up just one other hit, an infield single to Matt Howard in the sixth.

American starter Dean Corsi took the loss. He was touched for 5 earned runs, 3 hits and 5 walks in 4.1 innings of work. Corsi, who was charged with 3 balks in the game, also struck out 5 Gately batters.

Matt Miller led the Gately offense, driving in two runs with a bases loaded double in the fifth. Ricky Salvia had 2 of the 9 Gately hits.
