Sox comeback to beat the Thunder behind the pitching and hitting of Sunghoi An and Nimish Shah. Shah relieved An after 5+ and kept North Andover off the board while the Sox battled back. Shah stroked a 2-run double that tied the game and then An hit a pinch hit single to put the Sox in the lead.

The McNeil brothers both went 3-4 for the Thunder with Tarez McNeil smacking a 2-run HR.

In game one Marshall and Wayland's Rich Pacino had a great lefty v lefty pitching matchup. The two crafty lefties kept both teams off balance all day.

Sunghoi An threw a 2-hitter and the Sox waited until their last at bat to show their appreciation. Aided by a couple of errors, Wayland scored six runs on 5 hits including 2 RBI singles by Bill Carlezon and Al Visnick and a 2 RBI double by John Jones.

Derek Happas pitched well for the 'Stros and Kevin Curtin had both of Lexington's hits.

john kroeger hits a grand slam in the last inning to tie the game and ray mcpeck singles in the winner. kroeger also pitched 4 good innings and dana johnson finished it up for the win. derek levangie had 5 hits on the day and brian duncan and dave ram had good days at the plate

Guthrie picks up his third win, working around 10 hits, surrendering two runs while issuing no free passes.

Rob Moschella notched two doubles to pace the Cub offense and match his stellar play at 3B. John Aceto added an extra base hit and Eddie Vallery had a two hit morning.

Wayland bats wake up and Sox earn a split in the twin bill behind the solid pitching effort of Chris Allen. Ramon Antiqua (2-3, 2B, HR) and Frank Kowalski (2-2, 2B) led the attack as the lead changed hands 5 times. Stone had 3 hits to lead the Tides offense.

With 2 outs, nobody on, the Tides tied the game in the 7th on 3 straight singles but the Sox plated the winning run when Otis Lester got on via error, stole second, was balked to third, and scored on a single by Steve Wolf.
