Sox comeback to beat the Thunder behind the pitching and hitting of Sunghoi An and Nimish Shah. Shah relieved An after 5+ and kept North Andover off the board while the Sox battled back. Shah stroked a 2-run double that tied the game and then An hit a pinch hit single to put the Sox in the lead. The McNeil brothers both went 3-4 for the Thunder with Tarez McNeil smacking a 2-run HR.

Tom Manning started the second game of the double header and Rob Stephenson finished up the final 6 for the win. Mike Johnson went the distance for the Thunder in a gutsy performance in the heat of the afternoon. Close game again going extras with the Storm plating 9 in the top of the 9th and the Thunder putting 3 on the board in the bottom of the inning. The Storm offense was paced by Guckert 5/5, Kruse 4/6, Langston 3/5 with 2 long doubles and Finnegan 3/6. Props to both catchers who caught all 17 innings for their teams.

Well pitched by Manning and Laurin and well played game on both sides. Malden took a 1 run lead into the 7th when Paul Laurin hit an absolute wind blown bomb into the tree beyond the softball field backstop leading off the top of the 7th. Malden was able to scratch across a run in the bottom of the 8th for the win.
