The Boston Havoc secured a commanding 28-2 victory over the Boston Hogs on Opening Night.
In the second inning, the Havoc offense exploded for an impressive 10 runs, followed by another 8 runs in the third inning. Will Marsh had a spectacular game, batting 3-for-4 with a double, a homer, and 6 RBIs. Nick Powers was also impressive, going 2-for-3 with a double batting righty, a triple batting lefty, and 4 RBIs.
John Heim also made a nice contribution to the Havoc's performance, hitting a double that turned into a 4-base hit due to a throwing error. Thomas Quinn may have had the most exceptional performance by going 4-for-4, smashing 2 doubles and a home run onto the building across the street.
Seth Perkins pitched 3 innings, allowing 2 hits and no runs, securing the win. Nick Powers struck out 2 batters in the 4th. Thomas Quinn closed the game, capping off his impressive performance. |
