The Hogs sneak away with the win against the Mets. They got the scoring started early with 4 in the first. Kevin Campbell, the Bernardin brothers, and Alex Castillo were the offensive catalyst for the hogs. The 4 combined for 6 hits and 7 RBI's, Campbell lead the way going 2 for 3 with a triple and double. Nate Blunt dominated over 6 innings only surrendering 1 hit, no earned runs while striking out 5. Sam Greeman came in the close out the game in the 7th, was able to pitch through some extremely sloppy defensive play by the hogs. The Met's were extremely opportunistic taking advantage of the Hog's defense miscues. They were able to score 8 runs in the last 3 innings due to them. Their 3-hitter hit a clutch double with 2 outs in the 7th to bring them within 2. The hogs were able to end the comeback soon after that.
