The Hogs hit their way to way to victory behind big performances from Peter Blunt, Brooks, Porier, and Charlie Bernardin. Blunt collected 3 hits, 2 of which were doubles. He also added 4 rbi's in the contest. Zeke Golnik started for the Hogs pitching for the first 2 innings. He left the match up not part of the decision, Nate Blunt came in and pitched the next 3 innings. He struck out 4 through that time and got the win. Stockless pitched a scoreless 6th. And McGrath came in and closed the game out with a scoreless inning and a few strike outs. The Phoenix was able to strike first but could not keep the momentum going after the second. Their pitching was able to strike out 7 of the hogs throughout the game. Unfortunately, the Hogs where consistent pressure was too much to overcome.
