In a Saturday slugfest, the South Shore Giants eked out a 4-3 victory over the Boston Havoc.

Tom Quinn started the fireworks with a 2-run home run in the first inning, giving the Havoc a 2-0 lead. The Giants answered back quickly in the third inning. As the leadoff batter, Luke Bakker stepped up to the plate and homered. Then, the next batter, Alex Fernandez, matched his teammate's efforts by homering as well. This tied up the score, 2-2. But the Giants weren't done yet. After two groundouts, Noah Nickerson stepped up to the plate. Seizing the momentum, he launched a solo shot, marking the third home run for the Giants in the inning and taking a 3-2 lead.

The final score was 4-3 in favor of the Giants. The Havoc tried a first & third double-steal in the bottom of the final frame, but a perfect throw from Nelson Correa back to home plate from second base ended the threat.

Donovan Potemri picked up his first win of the season.
