After a competitive first game, the Marlins came out on top of game 2 with little drama. Despite the continued efforts of the Bandits Nate Heithaus (2-3, R), Marlins starter Kyle Shedden (6IP, 0ER, 3H, 7K) kept the Bandits bats at bay over a strong six innings. Marlins Sean O'Neill (3-4, 3 2B, 4RBI) led the charge on offense, as the Marlins cruised to a win in the second game of the day to improve to 3-1. Rookie Ryan Deschenaux (1IP, 2K) made his Marlin's pitching debut, coming into the game in the 7th to close it out. While the energy may have run low as the day went on, the fans were treated to a solid Bandits run clinic on who runs the infield.
