Thanks to a big third inning, the Spinners closed out the 2023 regular season with a 9-1 win over the Bay State Pirates. Mike Navarro and Mike Tufo each had two hits and Navarro and Adam Johnson each scored twice. Josh Desai got the win for Cambridge, pitching five shutout innings with four strikeouts. Brian Benulis led the Pirates with three hits and scored the lone run for Bay State in the seventh.
