South Shore Mariners pitcher Tom Levett secured his first win of the season with a defeat over the Boston Havoc with a landslide score of 13-1. Levett was in top form, allowing just one run on five hits over six innings - and just 2 hits after the first inning. His composure on the mound, which included striking out two and issuing a single walk, was instrumental in holding the Havoc to their solitary run. The Mariners' offense was simply too much for the Havoc to handle. They set the tone early, scoring seven runs in the first inning. Fran Borelli shone in his at-bats, with two hits and two RBIs.
