Palmer Club stays hot and wins big. Matt Donato pitched 4 masterful innings striking out 4 and allowing only 1 run. George Breslin came in relief for 2 innings striking out 2. In the 7th Nick Cordopatri made his long awaited return to finish out the game strong. The Palmer Club offense was hot racking up 18 hits. Contributions were made from 1-9. John Jones was 3-3 on the night with a double. WPI's own Steve Gallagher was 2-5 on the night with a double, triple, and 5 RBI's! Steve nearly hit one out to deep left field and nearly attained the rare Golden Sombrero! The Jim "Reaper" Perron was 3-4 with 2 doubles. Perron nearly homered, but was robbed by a tree in right center. Jim may be bringing his chainsaw to Fallon and taking down a tree free of charge for the city of Boston in the near future. Ted Williams Songin had his first multi hit game of the season going 3-5 and "Simple" Jack Magane was also 3-5.
