Defensive miscues by both teams turn an otherwise excellent game between first place teams into something of an adventure. Up 6 nothing, the Bombers appeared destined to add to their 13 game win streak. The Spartans, however, take advantage and score 13 runs in the 5th inning highlighted by a Pat Nicholson three run jack into the net that essentially put the game out of reach. Nicholson, Deane and Perron each with two hits for the Spartans. Boussiere picks up the win with six strong innings. Lightbody, Hayes, Desroches, and Coscione with multi-hit games for the Bombers.
