What began as a Havoc blowout with an 8-0 lead entering the bottom of the 5th inning became an epic comeback by the Pirates, and a nail-biter down to the last pitch. The Havoc held on to win, 8-7. Seth Perkins (3-1) got the start for the Havoc and was cruising along with a shutout until the 5th inning when Nick Packard hit a 2-out 2-RBI double to make the score 8-2. Of the Pirates 6 hits, 3 came in the 6th inning when they rallied together 5 more runs to make the score 8-7. After 2 quick strikeouts by relief pitcher Adam Anderson in the bottom of the 7th, an error and HBP put the tying and winning Pirate runs on base. Anderson struck out the final batter for his 4th K in 1.1 innings of work, and his 1st career save. Of note, Jordan Siu went 3 for 3, and was HBP for his 13th time this season, 1 away from the BMBL season record. Patrick Valdes also had 3 hits.
