The Thunder sent their godfather, Dave Brown, off with a win as they held off one hell of a comeback effort from a Mustang squad with no quit in it. Catcher John OKane partnered with North Andover pitchers Nick Buckman, Jason OLeary, and Matt Garon to keep the Mill City hitters just off-balance enough. James Thompson and Hector RAMOS tracked down every fly ball that came anywhere near them, while Thompson also paced the Thunder offense with 3 hits, a walk, and a RBI. Joe Barrera and Benny Bridger flexed their muscle at the plate, and Ramos, Garon, and Brown each chipped in timely hits. Nadonly could not be kept off the base paths for the Mustangs, with 3 hits, a walk, 2 steals, and a pair of runs. On the mound, Billy Beauschene made life difficult for Thunder hitters through 5 innings.
