The Havoc scored in every inning to defeat the Thunder, 13-2. DJ Conrad (1-0) captured the win in his first start of the season, throwing 4 innings and allowing just 2 hits with a first-inning run. Adam Anderson, Jordan Siu, and Hectik Garcia each threw an inning of bullpen-by-committee to keep the Thunder at bay and to preserve the victory. The highlight of season occurred in the third inning. After Andy Frye and Joe Barrera walked to put Thunder runners on 1st and 2nd, Matt Garon hit a hard line-drive to second base. Havoc Hectik Garcia caught the liner for out number one, flipped to Romello Carbuccia at second base to double-up Frye, who fired to across the diamond to Chris Dowd at first base to triple-up Barrera. Triple play!! For the Havoc, Carbuccia rapped 3 hits with a double and 4 RBI, while Patrick Valdes and Chris Dowd each doubled with a pair of hits. The Havoc improved to 9-5 on the season.
