Deadlocked at zeros in the 6th, the Spartans finally push one across on a double by Bryan Curran and an unfortunate wet ball wild pitch. The Spartans add an insurance run in the 7th on an RBI single by Franz Strassmann. The Spartans end a threat and the game in the bottom of the 7th on a nifty double play by Curran and Giblin.
