The Cubs headed south on Saturday to face Westcott on a beautiful spring evening. After a shaky first inning and the emergency starting pitcher,Jaden Dominski was lifted after only the first few batters. The visitors escaped further damage and only allowing one run cross the plate thru the home half of the 1st. After a clean second frame troubles arouse again in the bottom of the third with costly walks and errors leading Westcott to score five more runs. Cubs pitcher, Gilbert Cabral settled in and focused himself and racked up twelve strikeouts while also walking nine batters and allowing five hits over a complete game effort. Wescott starting pitcher, Cipolla carried a no hitter thru the fourth inning until Cubs player/manager Jason Peters broke it up with a single in the top of the 5th. The Cubs did their damage with 8 runs in the sixth inning, with a pair of hits batsman and walks, Cris Marte came through with a RBI single.T
