A great game for anyone watching, Cannon comes out on top with the walk off and secures the first playoff spot in 2016. Pitching and defense ruled the game as both Lippert and Scanlon each had 8k's on the mound. The first big play came in the 5th when Reddy, smokes a ball to the gap with a runner on. Heading for third, a sharp relay from Neshe to Desai cuts Reddy down at 3rd before the run crosses the plate to end the inning. McCue, Swain, and Colon string some hits in the bottom to take the lead. Johnson answers with a triple and scores on Smith's sac. TJO threatens in the 7th when McGaff singles and gets to 3rd with 1 out after a sac and pb. Miller flies to right but Swain throws and absolute missile to home to cut the tagging runner down by 5 feet. Bot 7, McCue gets on first after a dropped third strike. Swain mashes the ball to right just out of reach and McCue hustles around for the game winner.
