The Palmer Club edged out TJO Sports 7-4 Wednesday night at Fallon. Kyle Musco went the distance for the Palmer Club striking out six while scattering eight hits over 7 innings (2 ER). TJO jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st before Musco settled down and put it in cruise control not allowing another earned run the rest of the way. He held TJO scoreless from the 2nd through the 5th innings, which is where Palmer club did most of their damage. The Palmer Club responded to TJO’s early lead by scoring 7 unanswered runs taking a 7-2 lead and never looked back. Curtis Tirone, hitting in the 2-hole with Jimmy Pierce out on paternity leave, continued to play a key role with the Palmer Club finishing 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored, and an RBI.
