After Jeff Morse's one-hit performance in game one, Chris Demers responded with a one-hit shutout of his own, walking one and striking out nine Cardinal batters. Demers carried a no-hitter into the final frame before Christopher Caprio's one-out single spoiled the masterpiece. Brendan Fenton sparked the Oriole offense by going 3-3 with an RBI, while Jay Thomas contributed to the O's cause with a 2-3 game highlighted by a clutch RBI double. Jay Wisner hurled a complete game for the Cardinals.
