Watertown's Jonathan Bishop tossed a complete game one-hitter to lead the Reds to a season-opening 4-0 win Friday night at Lexington HS. Bishop, 1-0, struck out 11, walked none and pitched 4.2 perfect innings. Matt Bishop's RBI single in the first gave the Reds the only run they would need. Kyle LaVigne (1b) and Mac Jacobsen (2b) had RBI hits in the fourth. Mike Hart tripled with two outs in the fifth to break up the perfect game.
