The Astros improved their record to 3-1 on the young season with an 11-5 victory over the Orioles. In his first start of the year, Gary "Deuce" DiPerna had O's hitters off balance for five plus innings and earned the win. Steve Magsam (2RBI) came on in the sixth and pitched the last two innings to close it out. Dave Theran took the loss. Astros bats were alive from the start.
