This was a great pitcher's duel. The Cardinals scratched out a run in the 4th on a 2 out error then a single by Big Wade Krejdovsky. The Orioles took the lead in the 8th. Allegrezza and Currie lead off with back to back singles and after a SB and a K, they were on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. Rodrigues laid down a beautiful safety squeeze that Allegrezza was scoring on. The throw to first hit Rodriguez and went down the right field line allowing the go ahead run to score. In the top of the 9th, with one out, Big Wade Krejdovsky struck again with a booming triple to right center. With 2 outs, the Cardinals tied it up on a ground ball error. In the top of the 12th, Nick Rotolo lead off with a HBP and stole second. He moved to third on a single and scored on a pitch in the dirt that made its way to the backstop. It was a close play at the plate but Rotolo beat the throw. Marc Andolina picked up the win by pitching well in relief for the Cardina
