Moved from McConnell to English HS (on account of McConnell needing to be prepped for strategic cow pooping), yet another rainy evening of baseball. Not a damn thing was earned on this night. No one earned a win. Neither team earned a run. For the Beacons, new hurler Luis Alcantara teams up with Mylett to the tune of 2 hits, 0 ER and 10 ks. Rokicki leads off the 2nd with a deep triple, but gets stranded. For the Dodgers, Eddie Samp was Samptastic throwing a CG yielding 3 hits, 0 ER and 8 ks....not to mention twice stranding runners on 3rd with no outs. Tapper singles on a ball hit SO HARD that it just passed out and died 15 feet down the 3rd baseline. Pure wackiness.....3 out of 4 games in the YBL end in a tie.
