WP - Brian O'Neill LP - Darren Bisso The Reading Bulldogs captured their 10th win of the season Wednesday night with a convincible win over the Wakefield Merchants by a score of 7-1. Brian O'Neil took to the mound for Reading delivering another strong outing. O'Neill earned his 3rd win on the season after pitching 6 innings, giving up 1 run on 4 Merchant hits. The Bulldogs scored their first run in the 2nd inning when Trevor Bouvier hit a double to the left-center gap scoring Colby Maiola from first base. Reading scored three more times in the 4th with help from Mike O'Leary who had an RBI single and another single by Harrison Smoske plated two more Bulldog runs. The Bulldogs delivered three more runs in the 6th. O'Leary's bat continued to stay hot as he drove in Maiola to earn his 2nd RBI on the day. Trevor Bouvier scored on am miscue by the Merchant defense and Smoske added a 3rd RBI delivering a Sac-fly.
