The Reds took the lead in the 4th when Kelley singled to drive in Justin Forman and Steve Tramontozzi scored on an error. The Blue Sox regained the lead in the top of the 6th on a double by Jake Levine to score Steve Gath and a single by Tom Haugh to score Levine. The Reds answered in the bottom of the 6th when Feliciano squeezed home Mike Samko to make the score 4-4 which is how it would stand through 9innings.
