WP - Pajazetovic LP - Fusco The Reading Bulldogs won their second straight game Friday night defeating the Melrose Americans 4-3 to earn their 6th win of the season. Zurief Pajazetovic pitched a complete game earning his first win of the season. Pajazetovic gave up 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. Mark Fusco took the hill for the Americans and was roughed up early on by the Bulldog offense. Four singles by the Bulldogs led to three runs in the first inning. Darren Hartwell scored on a wild pitch by Fusco, the only unearned run of the game. Kyle Devin added an RBI single to plate Harry Smoske, and then later Devin later scored in the inning off an RBI single by John Halsey. Trevor Bouvier would add a solo homerun in the 2nd inning, the Bulldogs 1st homerun of the season.
