Sox ace Dan Tessier tossed a masterful, 3-hit gem in the first game of the twin-bill, going all 7 innings, while striking out 12 and walking only two. The Sox scored twice in the 3rd, the only runs they would need, on a 2-run single by catcher JJ Tessier.
