Paul Laurin gets his 20th career MSBL victory on a beautiful spring day, striking out 17 Yankees and scattering 6 hits. He got good defensive support as well from Mike Rose in left field (3 POs), great scoops at 1B by Gregg Bromely and Dave Brown, and several fine plays by Mike Valentino behind the plate (Mike also had 2 hits). The Thunder's big second inning included RBI singles by Mike Johnson, George O'Connor, Dave Brown and Mike Valentino. Chuck April also drove in a run and doubled in the 7th and scored on Bill Smith's deep drive to left. All together eight Thunder players hit safely in the game.
